Starting the 2021 Garden!

<div class="text-justify">It's hovering around freezing right now. Some days, a little above, some days, far below. Some days are clear, and others, a few inches to a foot of snow is on the ground. Basically the hardest time to be a gardener. But, not impossible...
<br><br>
So, I do what most other gardeners/foodies do... I plan for it, and prep for the garden season. pour over seed catalogs, websites, watch youtube videos of gardening, and gather tips, to plan!

<div class="text-justify">I'm really not sure how many of what type I'll plant. In addition, to seeds, I am also going to grow a few types of potato, similar to last year. And on top of that, I am in the middle of selling our house, and moving, to another house, which I haven't even begun looking for. The one we are selling, is in some serious need of renovation. Probably something in each room, needs work.

2020... a wild and woolly year, if ever there was one. My entire industry (Special Events) was shut down on 13 March and hasn't been back yet. Personally, I am ok, but so many of my colleagues and friends are struggling with bills, paying for food and rent, medical and health insurance.

Yes! We are off to a start on 2021 garden season. You have bought a lot of seeds to plant. Hehe, never knew there's a vegetable called chocolate pepper. Will have to google that!

When you plant most of the seeds on your list, that means you won't move until harvest or probably lift your seed beds and all and move them away. Wish you a productive planting season and bountiful harvest. ☺️

I intend this year, to plant in pots. That way, when it comes time to move, I can simply put the pots into the truck to move them as well!

I just saw that you specialise in Lighthouses! We have the oldest steel lighthouse in South Africa right in our village in Kommetjie. You will have to travel to our corner of the world one day. But in the meantime here’s one that I took - just with my phone, I’m not a pro.

I love it.
I was telling someone about my world wide trip I am roughly planning.
It will take me quite a few years, but, once I get used to my new boat, I intend a trip down the coast and around the horn! THAT will be the part I do last, when I am really confident. that strait is mighty impressive in it's power
