When someone asks me what service provider I have I tell them Sprint. A typical response is "Why Sprint?". The answer is because it is free and it works well. About a year ago I paid a $5 one time fee to open a ringplus account. I get 1500 minutes, 1500 texts and 500MB data each month. As long as I don't go over (which I never have) there are no other charges. There are still free plans (different than the one I have) available and you can bring your own CDMA device.
