<center>[Machu Picchu](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Machu_Picchu), at an elevation of 2,430 metres (7,970 feet), just makes your mind boggle. Seeing this place first hand, really puts into perspective, just how little we know about how, and why, this testament to ingenuity was built.
Expanding on [Part 2](https://steemit.com/travel/@bobaphet/machu-picchu-peru-part-2), we now take a closer look at the distinctively different building styles used  to construct the buildings, and surrounding structures, that make up the main "temple" complex of Machu Picchu.</center>
