Hello Steemit!

First of all I'd like to say I'm very excited to be here and writing my first actual post. I've been here a few days reading, learning and trying to resurrect my laptop just so I can post here.  This is such a winning idea, how can we all not wanna be involved?

So, my name's not really Bob, but my middle name is Robert, so I often like to use it.  I'm a 31 year old father of two beautiful children who deserve a lot better from me in life. I'm medically incapacitated from an old injury that has left me barely surviving (that story and many others yet to come) and unable to even support my family properly. I play online poker and fuck around with binaries and paid surveys to make every little cent I can from this here power-point we call the INTERNET. If it wasn't for such an understanding and supporting woman I have found in their Mother, I wouldn't even be alive today, let alone keen for a brighter future where we can all live the life we deserve.

She deserves the world, and so do our kids. I constantly battle depression and other mental issues that mainly stem from feelings of inadequacy and inferiority by not being able to be the providing father I should. I was a hard worker, usually sticking to easy labour jobs that paid decently, as opposed to chasing my qualifications and actually using them. I'm qualified in Engineering, Construction, Earthmoving, Cabinet Making, Farming, Logistics, Management, and even dying trades such as Bench Sawyer. For my years, I've been around. I've tried almost everything once and had a bloody good crack at life. Unfortunately I've always been unlucky in life and the golden opportunities most of you take full advantage of automatically, don't even get close for me. You can think "that's a very 'poor me' way to look at things" but the more I write for you to read, the more you'll understand over time.

I literally am that "short straw guy" the one who always takes the short straw some someone else doesn't have to. I'm a happy-go-lucky guy who's not easily put down. I keep my head up and march on. I fight to survive and always endeavor to put my best into everything I do, as I believe the rewards will be far greater.  So here I am on Steemit, hoping that the writing ability I've always had, my keenness for words and my sharpened silver tongue, can earn me a cent or two. Many friends, associates and internet personalities have told me to share myself with the world, and that there's a reason I can't grunt myself out on labour jobs any more. Let's find out...

So, Steemit, I leave my fate literally your hands... Do I tell my story? It's not a nice one, and it's gonna be hard to believe. Moreso, once I tell my tale, will you still love me in the morning?
