The world we live in can be different for a lot of different people, but the human mind has the ability to do amazing things.  Us, as humans never have to hold ourselves to a certain niche in our existence"reality".  Our minds actually have the designed capability to change our own reality once we have come to an  overall conclusion that the current reality"niche" is not sufficient to the soul.  Complacent minds exist in comfort for long stretches of time, then the surrounding habitat or environment can change, triggering the conscious mind to get up off the couch. 

Hence the need for the decentralized movement.
