I still don't know why Abby had so much grudge on Joel that she only tortured Joel to death and let the others to leave.

And I never imagined I'd have to endure such loss along with Ellie and the others. Yeah, it felt like I was with them, with Ellie, losing someone of my own.

Owen came forward and asked how Ellie got in. Then he said that they needed to get out of there as quickly as possible, otherwise the whole town was going to come for them.

He told Abby to finish Joel without continuing the torture. Ellie was looking at Joel and telling him to get up.

Joel was badly injured. He was barely alive. Then Abby swung the golf stick right at Joel's head to finish him off.

That scene was really brutal, and I felt what my character was feeling at that time. Ellie was screaming that she was going to kill them.

At that time, one of the enemies came forward to kill Ellie, but others stopped him. Ellie was looking at Joel helplessly. Then one of them kicked Ellie and made her senseless.

Dina came to the camp and woke up Ellie. She was also really traumatized to see Joel dead. Ellie was looking at Joel's body, and she kept crying. Yeah, Joel was long dead at that moment.

In the night, at the cabin of Ellie. It was probably later that night when Ellie was still grieving her great loss. To be honest, the concept of Joel dying like this made me sad as well. I could hardly take the scene and I still feel it when I'm talking about it.

There was a knock on the door. Is it Joel? No, it can't be, its Tommy this time. He came over with dinner for Ellie and he looked devastated as well.

Tommy didn't want to leave handing over the dinner, he wanted to get into Ellie's cabin and Ellie let him in.

Tommy was there to tell Ellie they can't send the experts after the guys who killed Joel cause it'd make Jackson vulnerable. 

Ellie: So they just get to get away with this?

Ellie confirmed that Joel would be halfway to Seattle already if it was her or Tommy. Then Ellie said she'd leave the next day, with or without Tommy and no one can stop her.

Tommy still tried to talk her out of this but Ellie confirmed he can't. When Tommy understood, Ellie would leave anyway, he asked for a day to talk to Maria so they may find some folks they can spare for this job. 

Ellie agreed and Tommy left after giving her a hug.
