## Hey guyz,
Um back people with another blog post in HIVE.
This time I'm going to showcase one of my battle using Centauri mage in splinterlands weekly battle challenge.
Centauri mage is a rare earth monster that's of reward edition.
This monster has magic attack for which this monster can attack from any first position and it has a special abilities in the 1st level that's called return fire for what this monster will return reduced damage back to their attacker when it gets hit with ranged attack.

At first, Child of the forest of enemy monster team attacked Centauri mage of friendly team and the friendly monster lost one health and right after that, the friendly monster used it's return fire ability and the enemy monster lost one health as well.
Then Unicorn mustang of enemy monster team attacked Flesh golem of friendly monster team and the friendly monster lost three health. Then Centauri mage of friendly monster team attacked Unicorn mustang of enemy monster team but the enemy monster didn't lose anything for having an ability called void. Then Centaur of enemy monster team attacked Centauri mage of friendly team and the friendly monster lost one health and right after that, the friendly monster used it's return fire ability and the enemy monster lost one health as well. Then Flesh golem of friendly monster team attacked Unicorn mustang of enemy monster team and the enemy monster lost two health. Then Mantoid of enemy monster team attacked Centauri mage of friendly team and the friendly monster lost two health and right after that, the friendly monster used it's return fire ability and the enemy monster lost one health as well. Then Goblin dartling, Earth elemental and Highland archer of friendly monster team attacked Unicorn mustang of enemy monster team and the enemy monster lost two health for two attacks.
Child of the forest of enemy monster team attacked Centauri mage of friendly team and the friendly monster lost one health and right after that, the friendly monster used it's return fire ability and the losing the only health, the enemy monster died on the spot.
Then Unicorn mustang of enemy monster team attacked Flesh golem of friendly monster team and the friendly monster lost three health. Then Centauri mage of friendly monster team attacked Unicorn mustang of enemy monster team again and the enemy monster didn't lose anything for having an ability called void again. Then Centaur of enemy monster team attacked Centauri mage of friendly team and the friendly monster lost one health and right after that, the friendly monster used it's return fire ability and the enemy monster lost one health as well. Then Flesh golem of friendly monster team attacked Unicorn mustang of enemy monster team and the enemy monster lost two health. Then Goblin dartling of friendly monster team attacked Unicorn mustang of enemy monster team and the enemy monster lost one health. Then Mantoid of enemy monster team attacked Centauri mage of friendly team and the friendly monster lost two health and right after that, the friendly monster used it's return fire ability and the enemy monster lost one health as well. Then Earth elemental and Highland archer of friendly monster team attacked Unicorn mustang of enemy monster team and the enemy monster lost two health.
Then Unicorn mustang of enemy monster team attacked Flesh golem of friendly monster team and the friendly monster lost three health.
Then Centauri mage of friendly monster team attacked Unicorn mustang of enemy monster team again and the enemy monster didn't lose anything for having an ability called void again. Then Centaur of enemy monster team attacked Centauri mage of friendly team and the friendly monster lost one health and right after that, the friendly monster used it's return fire ability and the enemy monster lost one health as well. Flesh golem of friendly monster team then attacked Unicorn mustang of enemy monster team and the enemy monster died on the spot. Then Mantoid of enemy monster team attacked Centauri mage of friendly team and the friendly monster lost the only health and right after that, the friendly monster used it's return fire ability and the enemy monster lost one health as well and then the friendly monster died on the spot. Then Goblin dartling of friendly monster team attacked Centaur of enemy monster team and the enemy monster died on the spot. Then Earth elemental and Highland archer of friendly monster team attacked Mantoid of enemy monster team and the enemy monster died on the spot.
The battle ended in round 3 and Highland archer of the friendly monster team killed the last monster of the enemy monster team and there came victory.

**FLESH GOLEM**:
FLESH GOLEM is a common earth monster that I've in level 1.
I used FLESH GOLEM at the front position as it has big powers such as 2 melee attack, 3 speed, 9 Health in level 1.
It's a 6 mana monster.

**Centauri mage:**
Centauri mage is a rare magic monster of fire splinter.
I used Centauri mage in that position as it's mainly a magic attacker that can attack from any position so I used it in that place.
It has 1 magic attack, 3 speed, 9 Health in level 1 and a special ability called return fire.
It's a 7 mana monster.

**Furious Chicken:**
Furious Chicken is a rare neutral monster that I have in level 1.
I used Furious Chicken in that position as a bait so that it can get hits from enemies when other cards can do their things.
Besides I couldn't do anything better but using a monster with 0 mana as the mana cap of the battle was so low.
It has 1 speed, 1 Health in level 1.
It's a 0 mana monster.

**Goblin dartling:**
Goblin dartling is a common earth monster.
I used Goblin dartling in that position as it's a ranged attacker that can't attack from the front position and it has 1 ranged attack, 2 speed, 2 Health in level 1.
It's a 2 mana monster.

**Highland Archer:**
Highland Archer is a common neutral monster that I've in level 5.
I used Highland Archer at that position cause this monster only can attack when it's not in the first position and as it has powers such as 2 attack, 3 speed, 3 Health in level 3.
It's an 3 mana monster.

**Earth elemental**:
Earth elemental is a rare earth monster.
I used Earth elemental at that position as it is a ranged monster that can't attack from the front position so I kept it away from that position and it has nice powers such as 1 ranged attack, 1 speed, 6 Health in level 1.
It's an 3 mana monster.

**Battling procedure with Centauri mage:**
As you'll need to battle with Centauri mage so you'll be able to play the battle using earth splinter as Centauri mage is a monster from earth splinter.
From the battle page, you need to click on the ranked battle button and you should wait for a little time.
This takes a little time to find a worthy opponent.
It might take a little longer sometimes and sometimes as it seems.
Then you'll see that you have an enemy waiting for you on the other side.
You can see everything about the battle here such as-
Rules of the battle, mana cap of the battle, splinters that can be used in the battle, the countdown time and you can check on your opponent too from here.
Click on the Make Team button.
Then you'll find a page with all your splinters that can be used in the battle.
As I needed to play this battle with earth splinter to showcase the battle of Centauri mage which is a monster from earth splinter, I chose my earth splinters summoner.
Then I chose the cards that I wanted in this battle.
There I chose Flesh golem, Centauri mage, Furious chicken, Goblin dartling, Highland archer, Earth elemental.
