## Hey guyz,
Um back people with another blog post in HIVE.

This time I'm going to showcase one of my battle using Cerberus  in splinterlands weekly battle challenge.

Cerberus is a fire monster that's of beta edition.
This monster has melee attack for which this monster can attack only from the first position position unless the battle ruleset has any special rules and it has a special ability in the 1<sup>st</sup> level that's called heal which restores a portion of the monster's health each round.

At first, Unicorn mustang of enemy monster team attacked Cerberus of friendly monster team and the friendly monster lost three health on spot. 

Then Cerberus of friendly monster team healed 2 health through it's heal ability and attacked it's attacker Unicorn mustang of enemy monster team and that enemy monster lost 3 health and it couldn't heal any health. Then Fire beetle of friendly monster team attacked Creeping ooze of enemy monster team and that enemy monster team died on the spot. The Cobold miner of friendly monster team attacked Furious chicken of enemy monster team and that enemy monsetr died on the spot as well. 

Unicorn mustang attacked Cerberus again on the new round and Cerberus lost the health again and like the previous time, Cerberus used it's heal ability, gained two health, attacked Unicorn mustang and that enemy monster lost three health. Then Fire beetle and Kobold miner of friendly monster team attacked Unicorn mustang but Fire beetle missed it's attack and for the attack of Kobold miner, the enemy monster lost two more health.

Uniron mustang of enemy monster team attacked Cerberus of friendly monster team with three melee attack while that Cerberus had only three health left so it died on the spot.

Then Fire beetle of friendly monster team attacked and then Kobold miner offriendly monster team attacked Unicorn mustang of enemy monster team.

The last one monster of enemy monster team died on the spot before it could attack once more.

The battle ended in round 3 and Kobold miner of the friendly monster team killed the last monster of the enemy monster team and there came victory.

**CERBERUS**:

CERBERUS is a rare fire monster that I've in level 1.

I used CERBERUS at the front position as it's a melee monster that can attack only from the first position unless the unless the battle has some special rules or the monster has special ability and it has big powers such as 2 melee attack, 3 speed, 5 Health in level 1.
It's a 4 mana monster.

**Kobold miner:**

Kobold miner is a common fire monster that I've in level 1.

I used Kobold miner at that position as it's a melee attacker and we know that can attack only from the front position unless the battle has some special rule set but still I used this monster at that position because it has an ability called sneak which allows it to attack from any position and it has nice powers such as 1 melee attack, 2 speed, 2 health in level 1.
It's a 2 mana monster.

**Fire beetle:**

Fire beetle is an common fire monster.

I used Fire beetle in that position as it's a ranged attacker that can't attack from the front position and it has nice powers such as 1 ranged attack, 2 speed, 4 Health in level 1 and it has an interesting ability called snipe in level 1.
It's a 3 mana monster.

**Furious Chicken:**

Furious Chicken is a rare neutral monster that I have in level 1.

I used Furious Chicken in that position as a bait so that it can get hits from enemies when other cards can do their things.
Besides I couldn't do anything better but using a monster with 0 mana as the mana cap of the battle was so low.

It has 1 speed, 1 Health in level 1.
It's a 0 mana monster.

**Battling procedure with Cerberus :**
As you'll need to battle with Coral wraith so you need to play the battle using fire splinter as Cerberus is a fire monster.

From the battle page, you need to click on the ranked battle button and you should wait for a little time.

This takes a little time to find a worthy opponent.
It might take a little longer sometimes and sometimes as it seems.

Then you'll see that you have an enemy waiting for you on the other side.

You can see everything about the battle here such as-
Rules of the battle, mana cap of the battle, splinters that can be used in the battle, the countdown time and you can check on your opponent too from here.

Click on the Make Team button.
Then you'll find a page with all your splinters that can be used in the battle.

As I had to play this battle with fire splinter to showcase the battle of Cerberus as that's a fire monster, I chose my fire splinters summoner.

Then I chose the cards that I wanted in this battle.

There I chose Cerberus, Kobold miner, Fire beetle, Furious chicken.
