## Hey guyz,
Um back people with another blog post in HIVE.

This time I'm going to showcase one of my battle using Water elemental in splinterlands weekly battle challenge.

Water elemental is a water monster that's of alpha and beta edition.
This monster have ranged attack for what this monster can attack only except from the front position unless the battle has some special rule set and it has heal ability at the lower level for what it can restore a portion of its own health each round.

For this challenge, you'll need to showcase a battle using the theme card and you should talk about the monsters that you use in the battle, about the battle.

The entry post should be shared on any social media and I'll use my twitter handle for that.

There should be a #splinterlands tag.
Then you should leave your post link and your social media link where you shared it as a comment in the official challenge post of @splinterlands.

**Battling procedure with Water elemental:**
As you'll need to battle with Water elemental so you should play the battle using water splinter as Water elemental is a water monster.

From the battle page, you need to click on the ranked battle button and you should wait for a little time.

This takes a little time to find a worthy opponent.
It might take a little longer sometimes and sometimes as it seems.

Then you'll see that you have an enemy waiting for you on the other side.

You can see everything about the battle here such as-
Rules of the battle, mana cap of the battle, splinters that can be used in the battle, the countdown time and you can check on your opponent too from here.

Click on the Make Team button.
Then you'll find a page with all your splinters that can be used in the battle.

As I had to play this battle with death splinter to showcase the battle of Water elemental as that's a water monster, I chose my water splinters summoner.

Then I chose the cards that I wanted in this battle.

There I chose Sea monster, War chaang, Prismatic energy, Mantoid, Water elemental, Giant squid.

**Buying procedure of Water elemental card(s):**

- First, you need to go to the market and then you'll need to find the card or you can go directly from [this link.](https://steemmonsters.com/?p=card_details&id=18&gold=false&edition=1&tab=market)
- Then you'll need to find the best suitable cards for you.
You can buy high-level cards or you can buy level 1 single cards and then you can combine them and you can upgrade the level.

The mana cap for this battle was 99 with standard ruleset and friendly monster team had six monsters against the enemy monster team with six monsters.

**Sea monster:**

Sea monster is a common water monster that I've in level 1.

I used Sea monster at the front position as it's a melee attacker with big powers such as 4 melee attack, 5 speed,7 Health in level 1.
It's a 8 mana monster.

**War Chaang:**

War Chaang is an epic neutral monster that I've in level 1.

I used War Chaang at the second position cause I wanted it to take the first position if first positioned monster dies and as it has big powers such as 1 ranged attack, 2 melee attack, 3 speed, 8 Health in level 1.
It's an 7 mana monster.

**PRISMATIC ENERGY**:

PRISMATIC ENERGY is a rare neutral monster that I've in level 3.

I used PRISMATIC ENERGY at that position as it is a magic monster that can attack from anywhere and it has big powers such as 1 magic attack, 4 speed, 10 Health in level 3.
It's an 8 mana monster.

**Mantoid:**

Mantoid is a common neutral monster that I've in level 1.

I used Mantoid in that position as it's a ranged attacker with snipe ability and it has nice powers such as 2 ranged attack, 2 speed, 5 Health in level 1.
It's an 6 mana monster.

**Water elemental:**

Water elemental is a rare water monster that I've in level 1.

I used Water elemental in that position as it's a ranged attacker with heal ability and it has nice powers such as 2 ranged attack, 4 speed, 4 Health in level 1.
It's an 5 mana monster.

**Giant squid:**

Giant squid is a rare water monster that I've in level 1.

I used Giant squid in that position as it's a ranged attacker and it has nice powers such as 2 ranged attack, 1 speed, 1 armor, 4 Health in level 1.
It's a 5 mana monster.

Spark pixies of the enemy monster team attacked for the first time in round 1.
Then Fire elemental of enemy monster team attacked on one monster and another monster lost health for blast.
Then Water elemental of friendly monster team attacked first on behalf of the team and almost got a monster of the enemy monster team.
Then Prismatic energy of friendly monster team fulfilled the job of Water elemental by killing the monster and Fire elemental of enemy monster team also got killed right after that.
Sea monster of friendly monster team didn't have the chance to heal even for once, it died before it could heal a potion of health.

War chaang of friendly monster team also died who was defending the front and then that position got filled by Prismatic energy and unlike Sea monster, Water elemental of friendly monster team could heal some health and kept attacking when it got the chance.
Enemy monster team kept losing monsters and then there came victory.

Giant squid of friendly monster team killed the last monster of the enemy monster team and there came victory.
