Ok so here's the thing... When I finally discovered cryptocurrency and that you could use your computer to make money, I found out I was too late. The industry and moved on and unless you had a huge mining setup, you couldn't make anything.

Or so I thought! I recently bought myself a new computer as a present to myself and decided to play around with mining again, just as an exercise in learning more about the industry. I powered up a Zcash miner on my GPU and was surprised to find out I could make a profit, even after taking into account my power costs. I'm now making approximately US$1 a day profit. Not much I know, but it gives me some crypto to play with and invest.

Has anyone else had a similar experience? Is there an even better currency I could be mining? I'd love to hear some thoughts and suggestions!
