If your post needs a Boost, use @Booster - This is how it works! (BETA 0.1.0.0) This is what you need to know!

Just like @randowhale you send X amounts of STEEMDOLLARS to @booster - whatever amount you want, it is completely up to you. What will happen next is when the timer runs out every 2.4 hours, it will upvote everyone in that time-window with a 100% upvote divided among the bidders and give a stake-based % on amounts received from you.

as you can see in the example above, that is how you do it - send whatever amount you want to @booster (make sure the name is correct) with a link to your post in the memo like these people are doing:

When the 2.4 hour window closes another 2.4 hour window opens while @booster votes on everyone according to what they put in like @booster do to these people in the following screenshot:

So let us take a look of the results in the next picture where @condra got a 32.25% upvote, let us look at what that is in Money:

Wow this definitely works! I had to respond with the results, especially for those like me that may not have a lot of SBD yet to play around with. Depending on the pool of how many joined in that 2.4 hour window. In social media, this can be a great tool to cause momentum in steemit, many people love to vote on posts that are consistency higher than others. I think its worth it, even though there might be a slight loss. IMO but many may disagree and I'm ok with that :)

Looks like a cool idea. I'm a frequent user of @randowhale and I'll most certainly use randowhale's services in the future too.-  I love the concept and it's easy as pie. However, @booster seems to have taken the *"good parts"* from @randowhale and made something unique out of it. I think it's a great idea but I'm also worried about the ROI further on. 

My guess is that you'll be able to reap a small fortune on your posts as long as you play when there's few players around. - With tons of competitors, which I truly believe it will be, as this is something that will be used frequently, (Just look at @randowhale) I guess you'll end up with pretty low ROI but still benefit from the whale vote as you'll go higher up in the categories. - My 2 cents anyways.

I just found out about @booster service.

Noob here, (asking a noob question of course) trying to understand some of the concept behind voting power & curation reward. Regarding the 2.4 hours window, is that the time that it takes to recharge back to 100% after each voting round?

I read somewhere that each time a steem user vote, the system will deduct 2% from our voting power. Does that mean the 2% voting power will be divided accordingly among the @booster customer in that 2.4hours window?

Am I understanding this correctly?

Sorry for asking this, I'm still trying to understand Steemit. 😁

While it's nice to see alternatives to projects within steemit it'll also be good to get more clarity.

What happens if the amount gets sent just an hour before the 7th day of the post and it gets the vote two hours later? You should stipulate some post age to be on the safe side.

Is there any reason for choosing 2.4 hours? Why not an hour?.

the reason for choosing 2.4 hours vote-windows is inspired by the EOS ICO by @dan. Also it has to do with not draining the bot for vote-power but have a more calculated boost. As you know there is a limit on 10 X 100% upvotes per in a 24 hour period so these settings are done initially to explore and we adjust as we move forward. If it was per hour, we would adjust down the %.

Interesting model here.  I found after using randowhale for awhile the putting in a couple steem dollars didn't translate to a positive return...where for instance...sometimes i got 2-3 dollar increase on post price valuation...but when considering the price value of steem dollars...it didn't really result in a positive roi.  Anywho just food for thought. Will give you a whirl and see how the returns are here.
