Hello to all my dear friends, I hope you are well wherever you are, for me it is a pleasure to be here sharing for the first time in this community @pinmapple  I want to tell you that I have spent a different weekend and the best of all is that it was with my family, since my husband and I had proposed to make a trip to know the city of Cabo Frio, in the region of the lakes in the state of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, we had agreed to leave very early to know this place, we had a long time without going out because we only live working and my son with his studies so we were happy that we were finally going to take a day to enjoy.

Hola a todos mis queridos amigos, espero que estén bien donde quiera que se encuentren, para mi es un placer estar aquí compartiendo por primera vez en esta comunidad @pinmapple   quiero contarles que he pasado un fin de semana diferente y lo mejor de todo es que fue con mi familia, ya que mi  esposo y yo nos habíamos propuesto hacer un viaje para conocer la ciudad de Cabo Frio, en la región de los lagos en el estado de Río de Janeiro en Brasil, habíamos acordado salir muy temprano para conocer este lugar, teníamos mucho tiempo sin salir porque solo vivimos trabajando y mi hijo con sus estudios así que nos dio una alegría que por fin nos íbamos a tomar un día para disfrutar.

We left at about 10 am from the city of Macae, it was a trip that lasted only 3 hours, when we arrived to the city I could realize that the terminal is in the center of the city, that commercial part is big and very organized and very beautiful, my intention was to go to some of the beaches of that city since according to some people had told us that they are its main attractions, my son did not want to go to the beach because he is a mall, he is in that stage of adolescence that he likes nothing and everything bores him, but well we took advantage of his mood and went to a mall, it is called Shopping Park Lagos, we arrived and started to know the place, it is a very nice mall, there were many stores and many people, today I heard another family speaking Spanish, that was a great joy for me, they were Argentines and we talked a little, we went to eat we had a craving for pizza so we ate a very tasty pizza, my son had a very good attitude, he was very happy so I took pictures of him today I wanted him to be the protagonist of this trip. We finished sharing there and we were fuul we did not want to eat anything else hehe I told my husband take me to a beach called (PRAYA DO FORTE), is a beach of that place very visited for its waters, its white sand and a historical monument that is the Forte de São Matheus which was built in the seventeenth century by the Portuguese, That was what I could read on a website that showed the most beautiful and visited beaches in the city of Cabo Frio with white sand and blue water, this is the place of the miners, this is what the man who was driving the uber that was taking us there told us.

Salimos a eso de las 10 am de la ciudad de Macae, fue un viaje que duro solo 3 horas, cuando llegamos a la ciudad pude darme cuenta que la terminal esta en el centro de la ciudad, esa parte comercial es grande y muy organizada y muy bonita, mi intención era ir a alguna de las playas de esa ciudad ya que según algunas personas nos habían dicho que son sus principales atractivos, mi hijo no quería ir a la playa porque lo de el es un centro comercial, esta en esa etapa de la adolescencia que nada le gusta y que todo le aburre, pero bueno aprovechamos su estado de animo y fuimos a un centro comercial, se llama Shopping Park Lagos, llegamos y empezamos a conocer el lugar, es un centro comercial muy lindo, habia muchas tiendas y mucha gente, hoy escuche a otra familia hablando español, eso fue una gran alegria para mi, eran argentinos y conversamos un poco, fuimos a comer teníamos antojo de pizza así que comimos una pizza muy rica, mi hijo tenía muy buena actitud, estaba muy contento así que le tomé fotos hoy quería que él fuera el protagonista de este viaje. Terminamos de compartir ahí y estábamos fuul no queríamos comer nada más jeje le dije a mi esposo llévame a una playa que se llama (PRAYA DO FORTE), es una playa de ese lugar muy visitada por sus aguas, su arena blanca y un monumento histórico que es el Forte de São Matheus que fue construido en el siglo XVII por los portugueses, eso fue lo que pude leer por una página web que mostraba las playas más bonitas y visitadas de la ciudad de Cabo Frio  con arena blanca y un agua muy azul este és el lugar de los mineros así nos indicó el señor que conducía el uber que nos transladaba.

The driver also oriented us by telling us things about that place, he gave us many indications, he seemed very proud of his city, I went with many expectations and when we arrived I could see a nice view, the beach was full of people, many tourists, the sand was like white described, I took off my sandals and walking was like walking on wheat flour hehe it was too fine, it felt too good, the sun was setting, I looked for the Fort because I wanted to go there and know it, and we started walking when we got to the shore of the beach, walking on that wet sand was good because it was very compact, there were people in their awnings, with their music, drinks, playing ball, enjoying a beach bath, and my son was walking with a joy, hehe on that beach the waves are very strong and long they were surfing at one end, I noticed that the water was a little dark and it was because it had a kind of very small brown algae, there were also many seagulls were very close to the people, they looked very pretty when they took flight, I took many pictures, from afar I could see the fort was on a small island we headed there I could notice that many people came to meet him, most of them tourists, we went over a small bridge, and a rocky road, that is an old but well preserved place, it has pure cliffs around it where the sea waves hit very hard, all the people were taking pictures, and I could notice that in some rocks there were many names of visitors carved, we walked very carefully, I could only see the surrounding walls very high and I could see how the tips of the old canyons that are inside that place were peeking out.

El conductor también nos orientó hablándonos  cosas sobre ese lugar, nos dio muchas indicaciones,  parecía muy orgulloso de su ciudad, fui con muchas expectativas y cuando llegamos pude ver una linda vista, la playa estaba llena de gente, muchos turistas, la arena era como la describen blanca, me quité las sandalias y caminar era como caminar sobre harina de trigo jeje era demasiado fina, se sentía demasiado bien, el sol se estaba poniendo, busqué el Fuerte porque quería ir allí y conocerlo, y empezamos a caminar cuando llegamos a la orilla de la playa, caminar sobre esa arena mojada era bueno porque era muy compacta,habia gente en sus toldos, con su musica, bebidas, jugando a la pelota, disfrutando de un baño playero, y mi hijo caminaba con una alegria, jeje en esa playa las olas son muy fuertes es y  largas estaban practicando surf en un extremo, note que el agua estaba un poco oscura y era porque tenia una especie de algas marrones muy pequeñas, tambien habia muchas gaviotas estaban muy cerca de la gente, se veian muy bonitas cuando levantaban el vuelo, tome muchas fotos, desde lejos pude ver el fuerte quedaba en una pequeña isla  nos dirigimos hacia allá pude notar que mucha gente se acercaba a conocerlo, la mayoría de ellos turistas, pasamos por un pequeño puente, y un camino rocoso, ese es un lugar antiguo pero bien conservado, tiene puros acantilados a su alrededor donde las olas del mar golpean muy fuerte, toda la gente tomaba fotos, y pude notar que en algunas rocas había muchos nombres de visitantes tallados, caminamos con mucho cuidado, solo podía ver las paredes circundantes muy altas y pude ver como se asomaban las puntas de los viejos cañones que están dentro de ese lugar.

When we left the place it was already getting late in the afternoon, we walked back down the street and arrived at a store to drink water and buy ice cream, then we went to the terminal we took a bus and returned to where we live. It has been a very nice experience a great day the truth is that this place filled my expectations, the best of the day was to see my son smiling my husband protecting us from everything and well I felt very pleased, I had time without feeling like this, it is very nice to share with family and meet new directions, I fell in love with this city I hope to return and go to other places that this city offers, this has been the story of this special day, I say goodbye until another opportunity I hope you liked my writing and photographs.

Cuando salimos del lugar ya estaba cayendo la tarde, caminamos de regreso por la calle y llegamos a una tienda a tomar agua y comprar helado, luego nos fuimos al terminal tomamos un bus y  regresamos a donde vivimos. Ha sido una experiencia muy bonita un gran día la verdad es que este lugar lleno mis expectativas, lo mejor del día fue ver a mi hijo sonriendo a mi esposo protegiéndonos de todo y bueno me sentí muy complacida, tuve tiempo sin sentirme así, es muy bonito compartir con la familia y conocer nuevos rumbos, me enamore de esa ciudad espero regresar e ir a otros lugares que esta ciudad ofrece, este ha sido el relato de este día tan especial, me despido hasta otra oportunidad espero les haya gustado mi escrito y las fotografías.

Amiga que genial que pudieras tomarte ese día para disfrutar en familia, esto siempre hace falta para desconectarse y cargarse de buena vibra, gracias por compartirnos, Brasil es hermosa, ya parte de mi familia está allá pero yo sigo aún con ganas de mantenerme en Venezuela, hace un tiempo pensé en irme pero luego llegó la pandemia y todas esas ganas que tenía que irme se transformaron y ya solo quiero quedarme, bonitas fotos, abrazos en la distancia.

Hey gracias me alegra mucho que te haya gustado,tambien soy venezolana jeje, quiero decirte que aunque no quieras irte de Venezuela puedes planificarte un viaje, aprovechando que tienes familiares por otros países y conocer lo que ofrecen esos lugares tengo mas de.un año y medio aquí en Brasil y aun en proceso de adaptación, pero ya tuve la oportunidad de conocer el cristo redentor de Rio y tres ciudades de la Región de los lagos en Rio de Janeiro, pienso en un futuro ir a más lugares con mi familia,para cuando vuelva a mi país llevar muchas histórias.
