Great quote :) I just read it in the post by @krytonica and I was happy to be reminded of you.  My husband always says "Do what you love and the money will come." I think that's another way of saying what you did, and I try to live by that edict.  But as I told krytonica, at this point in steemit's life we don't have the luxury of a large audience that is there simply to be an audience. We are all content creators meaning we have to be both for on another.
