Very soft, and absolutely beautiful. But at first, I was wondering, why Africa? I was in a hurry to find the answer until then I found this article, ["Humanity’s forgotten return to Africa revealed in DNA"](https://www.newscientist.com/article/dn24988-humanitys-forgotten-return-to-africa-revealed-in-dna/). In the beginning, the author says: 

> "One of the biggest events in the history of our species is the exodus out of Africa some 65,000 years ago, the start of Homo sapiens‘ long march across the world."

From there then I find the feeling of loss that befell you. But maybe it's because I've been misled by my mind...&#128540;

In this case, the use of Africa is more based on the fact that an old teacher of mine died there in a car accident when he still had so much life left to live and so many things to give. Conveniently, though, it connects to the cradle of civilization and adds depth to the poem and the man.
