Welcome back to another issue of Unlocking the Power of Chrome. 

Although they are becoming fewer and farther between, I am still working on bringing you some of the best Chrome extensions out there to help you power up your browser.

I have a little bit of a soft spot for the extension that I am going to cover today and I will explain why in a little bit.

Remember extensions can easily be added and also removed if you want/need to by right clicking on them in the extension bar to the right of your address bar and choosing remove.

If you feel like an extension you have installed it slowing down your browser, go ahead and remove it.  The extensions I cover are all pretty reputable and shouldn't cause issues.

There are a lot of questionable ones out there though, so make sure you do your due diligence before installing!

## Feeder

The extension I am going to be covering today is called [Feeder](https://feeder.co/).  It can be added to your browser by visiting the [Chrome Webstore here](https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/rss-feed-reader/pnjaodmkngahhkoihejjehlcdlnohgmp?hl=en).

I am not sure how popular they are today, but I used to be and still am a huge fan of RSS feeds.  I used to have an awesome app supplied by Google that would aggregate all of my RSS feeds in one place.

For whatever reason Google decided to discontinue that application and I was left looking for something to fill the gap.  In my opinion there has been nothing that has come close to that old app.  

Many of them have limited features for free and expect you to pay to get the advanced features.  Feeder is no different in that respect, but the fact that there is a Chrome extension for it makes up for the shortcomings.

Once you have your Feeder account setup, you can subscribe to all of the RSS feeds that you want to show up.  Then with the extension installed you can quickly and easily see all of your updated RSS headlines in by clicking the extension in your browsers extension bar.

If you get your news and information from a lot of different sources and you want to bring them all into your browser in an easy to read list the Feeder extension might be just what you are looking for.
