Unfortunately, on Hive, it's often the opposite - those who are downvoting good content are allowed to continue unchecked, while the rest of us suffer the consequences.

We can't let a small group of people dictate what's acceptable and what's not. The people should make the decisions, not a select few who think they can play god on Hive.

So what's the solution? One possible approach is to require users to comment on a post before downvoting it otherwise the downvote won't work. This way, at least they will know why they're being downvoted, and they can have a more informed discussion about the motivations behind these actions.

We deserve better than to be controlled by a small group of individuals who are using their power to manipulate and harm us all while farming Hive. It's time for us to take back control of our blockchain and create a more inclusive, more compassionate community for all Hivers.
