My title says, It has to be [Hive](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-usdhive)!

What is 'It'?

It is many things. It is the future, mine and yours, or financial freedom. For what [Bitcoin](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-bitcoin) promised. For true [decentralisation](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-decentralization), for true [web 3.0](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-web-3-0)

Not just Hive, but all the [layer two](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-layer-2) projects. Like [LeoFinance](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-what-is-leofinance) and others.

It is disturbing to me, others, and it should be to you also that most all crypto projects are [web 2.0](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-web-2-0), [centralised](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-centralization), pretending to be Web 3.0

I article I read that I am going to quote got me writing this post. It is basically how Bitcoin is getting eaten, taken over by WallStreet.

The article starts with this one simple line: "Wall Street heavyweights are changing their tune on crypto."

You are damn strait they are. When they see the opportunity to make money, a lot of money, have control, they are going to do it. And for us little people that means the end of what we hoped Bitcoin was going to do to change the world. Hive can fix this.

Next is a bunch of quotes of how the big players have changed their tunes. Not because they see what Bitcoin can do, but because they see what regulation can do for them. They don't care about the original vision of Bitcoin. They only care about profits.

I am not blaming them. Hell, if I was in the position I think I may be the same. After all, in the end, is this not why we are all here on Hive? To work to make money, for financial freedom. Just outside the traditional model.

"Take BlackRock CEO Larry Fink, who in 2017 dismissed bitcoin as “an index of money laundering.” Last week, the chief of the world’s largest asset manager gave a starkly different appraisal of the most popular cryptocurrency, saying it is “digitizing gold” and could “revolutionize finance.”"

He is not wrong with saying it could revolutionise fiance. Just not the way many have thought in the past. Hive fixes this.

"Then there’s fellow billionaire financier Ken Griffin, who blasted the sector as a “jihadist call” against the dollar two years ago. Now, his hedge fund, Citadel Securities, is backing a recently launched platform that allows institutional investors to trade the digital assets."

Another CEX (centralised Exchange). Money printing machines. Hive fixes this.

"Fidelity Investments, the nation’s largest 401(k) administrator, is another example. The 77-year-old financial stalwart is nobody’s idea of an anti-establishment renegade. Yet it, too, is moving on several fronts to get into crypto. It started allowing workers to invest a portion of their retirement savings in bitcoin last year."

Okay, I have no idea. Why would they do this? Is there some kind of administrative fee? There got to be a reason a company like this would do this. Doesn't there?

"Its subsidiary Fidelity Digital Assets joined Citadel — and Charles Schwab — in investing in the new crypto exchange, called EDX. And like BlackRock, it is seeking approval from the Securities and Exchange Commission to introduce a publicly listed fund that will track the real-time price of bitcoin."

The examples this just keeping coming how the Giant players are working towards control the grandfather of crypto. Once again I say Hive Fixes This.

Then we have communities like $LEO. We need more of them. So much time and effort is being put into keeping things decentralised.

If all you did was read the crypto news you would get so discouraged with everything going on. This is where you should double down on Hive.

Hive is the future of crypto, of decentralisation. I use to state that there are only two true web 3.0 blockchains and that being Hive and Bitcoin. But it would seem $BTC is being taken away from us. 

Long live $HIVE.
