#### The Idea Behind Braintex Account

Hello everyone and welcome to this blog, this blog is written by @ovey10. This account @braintex is operated and monitored by me. I created this post to clarify and let people understand what's going on in the account and what I use it for and how I use the account. I am an active onboarder on Hive and have onboarded so many people on Hive. I am part of the leadership of the <a href='https://peakd.com/c/hive-178437'>Hive Reachout Community</a> on Hive where we focus on advertising Hive Blockchain on Web2 spaces, onboarding and also helping with newbies preliminary steps on Hive.
Going back to the real purpose of this post, I decided to set up the account @braintex in other to help reduce the rate at which transactions comes in and goes out of my major account @ovey10 considering the large numbers of people I've brought onboard. I have thought my newbies how to convert their tokens themselves via a detailed, close to 30 minutes video tutorial plus photo guidelines on <a href='https://peakd.com/hive-178437/@ovey10/how-to-sell-hbd-for-hive-how-to-send-hive-to-binance-exchanger-how-to-convert-hive-to-usdt-and-your-local-currency'>How to sell HBD for Hive, how to send Hive to Binance exchanger, How to convert Hive to USDT and Your Local Currency.</a> this is the method I strictly use although there are other third party exchangers I haven't tried them but maybe I'll do that in the future for the purpose of educating newbies and providing them with other alternatives..
So far, I still have some people who find it hard to do the conversions themselves which prompts them to ask me help with the conversions for them. some got the steps and are already doing their conversions themselves. Some newbies can do their conversions but sometimes seek my help to still help them out when they need fiat in a matter of urgency, some with smaller amount less than 5 or 10HBD while some with higher amount more than 10HBD. Most times I do send fiat to them then later do the conversion myself or accumulate the little tokens into significant amount before trading.
P.S; Newbies aren't compelled to send me any tokens for whatsoever reason!
For the rates, I usually teach all newbies what HBD stands for i.e **Hive Backed Dollar** which means the token is pegged to dollar. So the dollar *current price* is always the exchange rate except when HBD drops below 1$ dollar maybe 0.9+ and above but hardly do we have such scenarios.
For conversion charges, it doesn't move pass 0.1$, but note that every calculations is done around the dollar current price since dollar rate isn't constant in Nigeria just like the crypto market..
