Chael Sonnen Will Be the Only Man to Share the Cage With Fedor, Anderson Silva, and Jon Jones | Trinity of GOATs
Although he has a habit of losing to these types of legends, Chael has pulled some pretty amazing wins out of his bag (i.e. his guillotine on Shogun).

It is so interesting that Chael has always been the medium for himself as the most gritty, and amazing fighter of all time... but now he has a path to prove that in a strange way. I honestly think he has as good as a shot as ever at beating Fedor, but there are a lot of deficiencies Chael has that Fedor may be intelligent enough to fully expose.

Chael has been submitted before, he has been hurt to the body before, he has also gassed badly and relied on having top control to rest in fights... he really will have none of that with Emilianenko. It is a strange and wily matchup that would have made more sense in 2010 than now... either way, this is a legends series of fights, and I will enjoy them while they last.

Sonnen may talk the talk but he also walks the walk. He has faced a wide array of opponents.

Sonnen also has been very unlucky. 
- He was seconds away from beating Anderson and becoming champion in a one sided beat-down before getting caught.
- He was seconds away from a victory over Jones. If he had hung in there for a few more seconds, so the ref could see that Jones toe was almost completely tore, then Sonnen would of won and became champion.
- Sonnen also beat the WEC champion but didn't get awarded the WEC belt because the champion missed weight....
