For those of you that has been following my lessons from nature it might come as a surprise that I chose the mosquito as todays teacher, because all of my prior posts I have reflected on the positive characteristics of creatures and critters from nature and the applications thereof in our own lives. 

BUT THE MOSQUITO…. HMMMM???

Even I struggle to find positive qualities on this one, none the less there are still valuable lessons that we can take from this little insect despite it not being based on its positive qualities.

#  Resolve smaller problems before they become big issues.

This little pesky insect might be small and a constant annoyance, but who would have thought that something as tiny as the mosquito could be one of the number one causes of death throughout the world? 
This can be applied in life too. If we manage this pest and prevent its bites, we reduce the drastic repercussions that such a bite might have. In our lives, many small problems might arise on a regular basis, these too might become much bigger issues if left unattended, however if we resolve the small issues while they are still small we will save ourselves from having to face the bigger problems that they evolve into.

#  There will always be irritations.

Another lesson that we can take from the mosquito today is that in life there will always be irritations, so be prepared to deal with them. We all know how little things in life can get under your skin, just as the mosquito bite does, and when it happens it becomes harder to focus on our priorities. 
Try not to let the small things get to you, I know this is easier said than done but the less attention you pay to them and keep yourself focused the less they tend to interfere with what is important t you. Just think of fidgeting a mosquito-bite… the more you fiddle with it the more it itches
