Why Is There Not A Way To See When People Tag You In Posts or Comments?

I'm trying to figure out why there is not a tab (or any way for that matter) to see where you've been tagged like there is for replies. Someone tagged me in a comment and I would have had no idea if I didn't actually go back to the post and see the tag there.

It could even be added to this menu:

Part of this community is to have discussions, but that becomes difficult if the person you are referencing has no clue you are tagging them to join a conversation. 

Just wanted to provide some feedback on the platform while it was in my mind.

Because stinc is too wrapped up in formulating new ways to rape the reward pool than actually put out something that they community wants?

It appears that they are more interested in being rewarded today rather than taking a long term customer service approach.

I don't blame them, once chainbb comes online nobody will use Steemit anyways.
At some point we all get custom interfaces.

Yeah, I think you're right that more and more people will be using custom interfaces as they start coming online. Not like much of the core team will care though since they already have their stake of STEEM at this point and it doesn't matter what interface people use, as long as the STEEM platform grows, they do alright.

@brendanwenzel, I agree that a tag notification would be a great feature in Steemit. I use eSteem for my smart phone, and it give notification for when my Steemit user id has been referenced.
