In previous articles, we covered some well-known Solana-based DePIN projects such as [Render](https://inleo.io/@brennanhm/atandt-and-aws-to-be-replaced-by-crypto-depin-projects-by-2030), Helium and Hivemapper. Today we're going to summarize the latest developments in a few under-the-radar DePIN projects on the Solana blockchain. 

Recall that DePINs (Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Networks) are projects that utilize blockchain technology to roll-out decentralized physical infrastructure for networks related to mapping, cellular communications, compute power, and more.

# Natix Network

Originally slated to launch on [Peaq](https://www.peaq.network/), NATIX is a decentralized camera network designed for geospatial data collection that uses the Solana blockchain to ensure data integrity and security. 

Similar in concept to Hivemapper, drivers earn NATIX tokens for collecting this street-level data, only they do it with and app on their smartphones instead of a customized dashcam.

Last November, [NATIX reported over 191,000 registered drivers](https://x.com/NATIXNetwork/status/1864327618692006145) on their official X account. [This number grew to over 223,000 users by](https://x.com/francescoX222/status/1900650199988801995) January, indicating a rapid addition of roughly 32,000 users in just two months.

Also by last November, NATIX users had collectively driven over 107 million kilometers. By February, [this figure had jumped to over 142 million kilometers,](https://x.com/NATIXNetwork/status/1897302230795215288) an increase of about 35 million kilometers in just four months.

# XNET Mobile

XNET Mobile is a DePIN project on the Solana blockchain that expands mobile coverage by using token incentives to deploy radios and access points in various locations like stores and businesses. 

Similar in concept to [Helium](https://inleo.io/@brennanhm/depin-on-the-rise-as-telecom-providers-start-offloading-data-to-the-helium-network-eax), deployers are rewarded with XNET tokens for filling cellular dead zones. The enhanced coverage is then sold to major mobile network operators such as AT&T.

XNET's average daily data offloading [jumped 40% in February](https://x.com/Syndica_io/status/1903116957508829537), hitting a new all-time high, reflecting a significant increase in network usage. [The network also saw a 34% increase in active contributors](https://x.com/Syndica_io/status/1903117057329406059) and a 24% rise in total token rewards.

# Nosana

Nosana is a decentralized computing network built on the Solana blockchain, designed to provide on-demand GPU power primarily for AI inference tasks. 

The network connects users needing computational resources with entities who can supply idle GPU capacity, rewarding contributors with the plaform's native token NOS.

In February, Nosana reached a significant milestone [with 1,000 active operators for the first time](https://x.com/Syndica_io/status/1903118936159170667). This reflects a growing number of participants providing GPU resources to the network.

The same X post highlighted a 21% increase in monthly jobs during February. Each job can generate multiple AI inferences, suggesting heightened demand for Nosana’s decentralized computing power.
