How to Draft a Screenplay Outline - with thanks to Blake Snyder
First rule of thumb when writing a screenplay is to write about things you know  or have experienced yourself. 

Unfortunately, when I give that advice to aspiring writers, they often say something like, "But I live an ordinary life. Nothing exciting ever happens to me."

Well, guess what! Writing is taking an 'ordinary' event and expressing  it in an 'extra-ordinary' way through your eyes with your emotional perspective. Only you can do that. You see, it's not the story that's exciting. It's in the way you tell it that makes it so.

Just give people insight into a slice of life, in this case, your life based on your experiences. They may find it interesting. 

In this Vlog, I give you a brief example of how I can take the events in my life over the last two weeks and lay it out into a draft 'beat sheet'  for a screenplay.

First, best wishes on staying healthy and out of that hospital. Second, it's interesting to see how you took a real-life event and sketched it into a script outline in a quarter of an hour. I'll look into the Snyder book that you recommended.
