Copper Prices
Hi Friends,

Copper is hitting all time highs!!! 

$3.35 per pound! :)

Investing in physical copper is not practical as the size and weight take up too much room to be a viable investment.  However, buying copper miners and paper copper is not a bad way to go.

I will confess that I own one copper round, which is more symbolic than investment:

I must confess that I separate my pennies and keep the pre-1982 coins.  The melt value of 100 pre-1982 pennies is $2.80!

I hung on to my Mother and father's 20+ pound glass penny jar that was full of pennies going back to the 80s. I accidentally dropped the jar but lives on in a few coin bags.

According to the FX list on tradingview the spot price is closer to 4.30. I have been saving copper pennies for a long time. Planning a smelter to make my own mintage from scrap.
