Halloween Recap

We had a great Halloween last night!

Jacob was Thomas the Tank Engine and Kendra was Cinderella.  They both looked adorable, and it was a fun night.

The kids trick or treated in the early afternoon before I got home from work in a local downtown area, and then again at night when I got home. We went out with the neighbors and spent about an hour and 15 minutes trick or treating.  The kids got a lot of candy, and Dad’s commission for taking them around is about 80%, so I sure got a lot of candy too!

There seemed to be more kids out trick or treating this year for some reason, which is good, but more kids were zombies/bloodied/scary than usual, so the kids got freighted a couple of times, but nothing too bad.  We also didn’t run into any people playing pranks or jumping out and scaring kids, which was helpful when the kids are so young.  Overall, it was a great night!
