I have actually got nothing to say other than I simply adore working with Indrija, she is without doubt up there amongst my two or three favourite models.
So, rather than wax lyrical and jabber on about just how good Indrija is (again!) I thought I would take a leaf out of a good friends post and go through my post shoot process.

I always create a folder YYYY-MM-DD Model name so, in theory I can find the images. So step one is to import via Lightroom and do basic adjustments - tweak exposure, highlights and shadows, set white balance, saturation etc, add tags and delete any that aren't sharp or just don't work. A smidge of sharpening and then export as tif files.

After export I open the tif files into photoshop. Generally I tend to run a skin smoothing action, one that doesn't make the face (or body) look plastic. I then run and work a frequency separation action and remove blemishes (scars, spots, dried lips - where I have discussed with the model).

After that it's a bit of dodging and burning before flattening the layers and using Nik collection's Skin softener, glamour glow and output sharpener. And then finally save in a hi res folder and a Web version in a low res folder (which is why I eat up memory. Each image can take between ten minutes and a couple of hours depending on the image and how many of the above steps I take.

A fab set of images Brian, and interesting to see your edit process too.

I don't flatten the images. I like to keep the layers separate so I can go back and adjust it at any point. Probably the reason some of my photoshop files are flippin' enormous, but I like the flexibility to change my mind over an edit.

Same here, I try not to spend too long on an image (the longer I take the more I seem to over-analyse and second guess what I am actually doing)

Thanks Dan, and thanks for the inspiration behind the post. I think if I am honest that the above process is when everything goes well. If you were to look through my folders you would often see image1-wip, image1-v1, image-final, image1-final-v2 etc all with all of their layers intact ha ha.  I have been told that I am not the only person that does this.  😂😂

Ha! yet another reason I generally stick to insects... moths and bees have no need for money, I save a fortune on shoots!

They are a bit crap at taking direction though
