Girls grow up watching so many Disney movies and fall in love with the idea of the ceremony but are rarely content with the man they married. In larger population centers like Phoenix and Los Angeles there are so many potential guys a woman could monkey branch to that even a man who is doing everything he can to provide a good life for a woman can be totally caught off guard if she suddenly serves him with divorce papers and he spends the rest of his life paying her child support, alimony, and fights for 10 years to even see his kids.




Relationships aren't even really taking what we used to see as normal progressions decades ago.  Where people date for awhile and then get more serious and become boyfriend / girlfriend and then after years of being together and even living together they decide to get married.   Now it is like these quasi relationships where you are banging but not really even officially boyfriend / girlfriend.  Then suddenly if she feels left out because her friends are getting married she might even try to progress one of these situations real fast even if that guy isn't even close to ideal. "Tried to force it when she should have said NEXT!"

Now, i have thought about this statement for a while...
and i am pretty sure you are correct.

Marriage is the new boyfriend/girlfriend.

It used to be i like you so much lets go steady.
Now its i "love" you so much lets get married.

When marriage should only be engaged in when having children... strike that, it is better to stay unwed, because she will get free hospital birth, and a million other benefits you could not have if you tied the knot.

I remember a time when mother / father would sleep in separate bedrooms, but they would stay together, civilly, and raise their children.

Today, the reason for divorce are the same you would expect from people who were dating in school a half century ago.

See my worry of having a baby with a woman who I wasn't married with is that immediately it could be taken to the court system for child support...etc if she wanted to go that route.   But that might be easier than going through marriage and then also having the courts suddenly taking part in the rest of your assets if things don't work out.   

But yeah these days people just get divorced if they can't agree on what Netflix show to watch and she will say something like. " He was more like a little brother."   

It is pretty unreal to how these women really think it was all the guys fault all the time.   They usually don't take any sort of responsibility at all.   

Then if they read guys like us talking about this stuff they will act like we are bitter or don't know how to treat a woman or something.   

My next video will probably be about how you don't want to take these women on dinner dates.   A lot of them are just looking for free meals.   They are like cats.... they are just looking for the next person who will feed them.

The problem with that worry...

is that you have more rights to see your child when you have never been married then you do when you are.

In a divorce she can just say you abuse her/child, and you don't get to see your kids.
In a visiting rights legal battle the bar is set a little higher.

Yes, you have to pay child support either way, but it is assumed that she is supporting herself if you are not married.  Makes a huge amount of difference in what schedules they use.
