Trevon James Is Back On STEEM - My Thoughts

Trevon James, Craig Grant, and Jerry Banfield are the most controversial members of our decentralized economy here and they have also pumped more traffic to the STEEM blockchain than any other individuals. As polarizing as they are they have been three of the most visible people here. With Trevon it is interesting because he now says he is sorry and how he treated STEEM like a $5 hoe.

He now once again claims he is going to support others and build a community here. Unfortunately we have heard that many times from him and he never ends up following through with any of that.

## He has and always will be someone who takes way more than he gives back here on the STEEM blockchain.

95% voting power and mainly the votes are following some shitty curation trail and part of those accounts it is voting for are him / his family. @lordgod and @thomasbrown are basically him it appears.

## Really when it boils down to it you either have to take more than you give here on the STEEM blockchain or have really good timing to make money here. The only acception I would say to that is if somehow your content is universily accepted as being helping and providing a real solution or you have developed something badass like DLive, Busy, DTube.....etc

I don't understand people who waste their SP. There's are a few big-name witnesses who barely use any of their SP, which is a waste for both them and content creators they want to support. Trevon could probably use the loot for a future defense fund as well.

The Witness situation sort of becomes weird because some of them really don't do anything.   They had enough technical knowledge to set it up to begin with and now they are really making bank and becoming more and more powerful overtime.   And like you said they don't vote and it is almost like they act as if the curation rewards would be like searching for pennies on the sidewalk.   

I even sort of know people online who are holding STEEM on exchanges just as a speculative investment and then they won't even go through the process of putting into a wallet on here and powering it up and setting up Steem Voter to earn curation rewards in their sleep.   It is dumb and to be honest with you for those of us that spend so much time here it just becomes more and more frustrating.

Well with a guy like Trevon and Craig I wouldn't follow their crypto advice and neither would I with Jerry's crypto advice.   

Where Jerry is good is setting up media production.  His computer / live stream setup was pretty sophisticated.

Yeah it is a wonder for sure and the fact that DLive was even upvoting him with power that has been delegated from Steemit INC is sad in a way for sure.   He is really a parasite on this whole blockchain to be honest.   He needs to be flushed out for good and we would all be better off.
