At this time,  you cannot withdraw Steem or SBD from Bittrex if your Steem Name is shorter than 10 characters. At least, that's what I thought at first before trying an old trick.

While I fully expect this to be fixed in the near future, there is a simple solution to this problem.

after you type in your account name, just add enough spaces to equal 10 total characters. 

Mine for example:

While Steem itself doesn't allow you to create an account name with spaces, Bittrex treats spaces as literal characters.
