Making a guirlande ~ welcome baby girl

I love to craft, I always see things and combine them in a new project. Crafting makes me relaxed. I am always changing things in the house and make a lot of gifts myself. Just because I love getting selfmade presents aswell. Especially from the kids.

Now you might k ow I became an auntie to a baby girl last week.
She is called Ella Billie and she is so adorable, I am over the moon.

So I decided to make a guirlande with text, from wooden panels and fabric on a string.
The guirlande is for the front door, like a sign.

Ofcourse I send a card and I visited and I am going to go this week to see her again and hold her, because I had a fever lip so I could not, was not allowed to hold her (yet)

Pictures are not in order but you can see how it’s done. I didn’t make it in one day so sorry if you think it’s not in order.

You need squares cut of fabric, I used a green multi color and patterns. 
Also thread , wooden panels with letters, a needle and I used a cardboard to display the end result. And the text can be different for any event. I have a box with all the wooden panels so you might wanna change the text to something personell.
