#MOTHERSDAY WHAT A TREAT, MUMS #WEEKENDEXPERIENCE PART II

Some see it as a marketing thingie , a day for the shops, but I loved every minute of today. I love being a mother and I love Mothersday and all the presents that marketing makes my family buy. I loved this second Sunday in May. My birthmonth. I loved
Every minute, I love all my kids and their handsome father and the sun that was present especially for all ten mums. 

It’s been a lovely day and with an empty agenda and me relieved from all household tasks, both inside and outside the house, plus tasks animal related , it was superb and most welcome. I am utterly grateful for my hubby , their loving dad for arranging the perfect mother day. And we will see the aftermath tomorrow and the washing machine will have a double duty starting tomorrow morning when I wake up and opened my eyes to the new week. A short week , only three days and than again 4 days off. What a pain the month May is. No complaints here. Just blogs.

I got a lovely ( Healthy ) breakfast in bed. English breakfast tea with poffertjes
 ( Dutch little pancakes ) with sugar but hart shaped. Really cute!
I got flowers, a sweet card , a candle and cake. But I also got a funny mug. I won’t go into the details but I have, since our daughter is in a dorm room, let’s say a Willy home. A house of male genitalia and all its benefits , like the toilet seat up and socks everywhere around the house. Apparently I complain a lot about that sometimes because I 
got an explanation about this before I unpacked my mug. Always lighthearted and full of humor my men in this men's house. I am blessed and love that I have a men's house. Love everywhere, and me carried on many hands. Ok , enough for the emo feelings Burgas you can read I had a great day.

After a shower, a nice blow dry for my hair hair and a lovely dog walk the fam bam went to the football stadium. The fact that today was not only Mothersday but also the / our chance to be the countries football champion with our club FEIJENOORD is a second high light of today. I was born in one of the streets behind the Rotterdam stadium the Kuip, home to soccerub Feijenoord. 
I have white , green and red blood. Colors for Rotterdam and Feijenoord. That’s at the end of the afternoon so I walked the dogs, medicated Charlie ( poor boy is batteling spleen cancer since Monday last week ) cuddled and brushed him and Joey. 
For me the perfect chance to watch 
a Netflix movie. 
A movie in silence in an empty house , whoop whoop, the movie with Jennifer Lopez. 
A movie about A mum who will go to every length to protect and keep her daughter safe. What a great one for today. 
Thank you netflix! And a must see if you are a mum or a Jennifer fan.

After the movie it was football time and the youngest came home with a friend from class to watch at our house. 
The chips and popcorn came out and drinks were served in the livingroom infront of the tv for the most important game of the year. We ordered pizza and made ourselves comfortable.

The feijenoord nation is happy that the scale ( the prize for winning the annual competition) is won. The city is full of partying supporters and outfits that show the love for our club. 
Our oldest two are in the fountain in front of the municipal building in the Rotterdam city centre.
 The fact that this is only the second time in this century that feijenoord won is for them very special. 
History where they were sort of. And club love. 

This is a still from the video they send me , their mum , who loves the best club of Rotterdam but won’t ever go near the fountain and jump in the water for fun. But he kids, do what makes your clock tick, time is going by fast and we never know when the next time is. They are still young I have had another bday last week. I know what time is. In a good way. Life is good, family is better. Me time is fantastic.

it  is a marketing thing  :)  we always hat to purchase  extra postcards and wrapping  paper in our store in Amsterdam , we always had  extra advertising campaigns running, so yes it's a about marketing.
