# BRO NEWSPAPER | ISSUE 20 | 2022

We try to keep you informed about the tribes which we have invested in with Brofund, since you, as a BRO-Holder, have also indirectly invested in those projects. Due to this, it's possible that you will see some tribes often, and others not at all. This hasn't got anything to do with the tribe itself, or that these tribes are not active. It's only because of the fact that we have not (yet) invested in these projects. Since @raymondspeaks is always on the lookout for projects on Hive-Engine to possibly support, this can change from week to week.

<sup>**We have decided not to include more than 3 projects per week in the Bro Newspaper. This makes it easier for you to read, and you don't get an excessive amount of information.** If  I were you, I would pay close attention to those three projects, because they could become very interesting in the short run. For now, let's just say that your time and attention could pay for itself!</sup>

# Hello BROs! 
It's weekend again, and we can see this immediately in the crypto markets. At least, I often see a drop in the Bitcoin price during the weekends. Last week I watched a video from @wendyo where she said it's NOT a bear market YET but we don't need to be fooled. We are definitely going to have a bear market. And that is also the general sentiment in the markets. The only question is how long it will last this time. The next bitcoin halving is scheduled for early 2024. Will this bear market play tricks on us for the rest of 2022 and 2023? Or will we see a change in this pattern due to the many changes and developments? Will bitcoin remain the crypto that determines the entire market or can ETH 2.0 change this? And if this is NOT the bear market YET, where will the bottom lie for Bitcoin, and for Hive? These are just questions that come to my mind as I type this.

If you were not prepared for this, it is certainly not a pleasant sensation. But, this is also necessary. These are the moments when a foundation can be laid for the next Bull market! These are the moments when new capital can flow into the market again, and that is precisely what is necessary in order to be able to continue to grow.

Things have calmed down in The Mancave, so there are no major updates to report from there at the moment. 

Something that I would to bring to your attention again is our **Brofi**. You can no longer delegate Hive-Engine tokens and receive BRO in return. However, don't be sad! We have a solution for you. **You still can get BRO tokens for delegation**! The difference now is that you have to delegate **HIVE** to @brofi. @themarkymark explained this really well; 

> You can delegate Hive, and get your share of the curation rewards + 10% paid in equivalent bro tokens.
> **EXAMPLE**: if you delegate 10% of the total HP, and brofi makes 100 Hive/day, you would get 10 hive worth of bro tokens.

As you see, the amount of tokens you get is dependent on how much Hive brofi makes, and will thus vary from day to day. 

Another thing I need to let all of you guys know is that The Bro Show will be given a slightly different touch and will most likely return this week after a week of absence. 

**What's always important to know is that we keep building, and that we are not going anywhere. BRO is here to stay!**

We all know that Splinterlands will soon start the pre-sale for the SPS nodes. Have you saved up enough SPS to grab your node? But this is not the only thing, as most of you have noticed already, there was a big change in the Ranked Rewards. YES! However, I can lift a small tip of the veil. We all want to earn more DEC for the last weeks of the airdrop, right? And speaking about the airdrop, we have only 66 days left before the airdrop ends. What do you think? What will happen with the price of SPS? I am very curious what your expectation is! And talking about SPS, the SPS rewards for the Ranked Games are intended to start very soon.

If this is not enough news for you, there is leaked info! A new set of reward cards is about to be launched. The Mavericks are invited to battle test the cards already. # DID YOU KNOW THAT;

Is there anything to gossip about this week, you may be wondering. Well I can tell you. "**Yes absolutely**". All of a sudden @raymondspeaks got infected with the idea that he *really* wants to learn how to code. And not only that! He transferred that virus to @hetty-rowan, and now I also heard that @papacrusher has already been infected. @thisismylife already said that she didn't want to get into it NOW, but that once she's enjoying cocktails in the sunny south of Spain, she might feel like diving in too. @bala41288 is going to get busy! He has set himself up as a teacher! This 'learning-coding virus' is spreading fast! It looks like the monkey pox! 

Now you may ask yourself whether hetty-rowan has the brain at all to even think about programming, and whether @thisismylife is going to have such a bright brain sitting there on the beach sipping her cocktails! Only God knows what kind of discord bot will pop up. Although I was once told that they did get some IT knowledge from somewhere ... but then, how does that go with hetty-rowan being blonde and not to forget about thisismylife sipping on those cocktails?

Maybe @stickupboys can make a GIF for that too? And speaking of the Stickupboys, I heard somewhere that they like rivers. Now I don't know why exactly, but somehow I don't get the idea that it is because of the tranquility that a river usually radiates. No, it certainly won't be. I mean, when you think of the Stickupboys, do you think of calmness? LOL! I can think of many things, but not that. And just for the record, nothing bad about the Stickupboys, only love. 

Oh, and now that we are talking about love. I have to tell you, that BROmance. That's something too! Last week I saw these two together on a server again. And I can tell you, the love is definitely not over. It may seem calmer in public. But nothing could be further from the truth. It's just adorable to see the compliments flying back and forth. I'm so curious to see if a real date will come out of this soon. That would be great! Wouldn't it? Hmmm, could the Hivefest be the opportunity for the BROmance to come to full bloom?

I could go on with this for a while. But let's not exaggerate. This is not a gossip magazine!
