I haven't bought any PIMP yet but we've had our eyes on that server for quite some time. I meant to buy some last crypto season but then my funds ran dry and mostly I've been trying to keep my team employed and our projects in ship shape during the bear.

If you don't know, PIMP is ran by @enginewitty who has tried to tell me about it several times now in private message, but through my lack of clarity I wasn't always sure what it was because they've never really had a whitepaper to boot. That's when @stickupboys told me that I should just join their server and find out for myself.

So I did.

Interestingly PIMP was founded in the same fashion as BRO was. Like many other coins that copied our format in the beginning such as Index, Dhedge, etc. PIMP has bared the choppy waters of hive-engine and has done well keeping afloat and some. They've seen quite a lot of price action since the beginning, that's for sure. Witty messaged me and told me that he liked my idea so much that he *just* had to start his own a year or so ago.

Now always before I invest in a project I like to pop into the discord server and get a feel for what's happening? Who's there? How is their business conducted? How do they treat newcomers? These things are pivotal because they can make or break a project. Your token can be top class but if you don't have a good, loyal community then you may as well kiss your token goodbye at any significant hive price movement. We've already seen massive swings with Legion, because Legion doesn't have a solid community.. yet. It will though. Eventually.

I like the Pimp community, and I've actually taken away a few positives from the way they do things and started implementing them into my own community - for instance you can now find me every night on chat at 11:00pm GMT for an ama, or like @enforcer48 and @bearbear613 have done in the last two nights, taken it as an opportunity to shoot the shit with me. Something I'm getting into practise for because in the next few months we will have official live shows.

They showed me that live shows can be completely informal too and the community can enjoy them just as much. My experience so far with this has been rigid professionalism, and whilst that's great, it's definitely not me, nor anyone in the community -- so being in Pimp has given me the courage to get back up on the soap box and in front of everyone again.

I've enjoyed being there and watching them as they create welcoming spaces for other projects in their discord. Something I had the idea to do a few weeks ago. It almost feels like this project is very similar to mine and why when the finances start getting better and the bear stops being like a wrecking ball I am going to buy a substantial amount of Pimp for BRO & Legion.

I also very much like how they have a decentralized voting system for decisions not yet made, and how the community is very much involved in making those decisions. Something I wish to implement for my Dragons and Centurions in the future.
