Using 3Speak Has Become A Struggle!!! (At least for me)

You know we have these great tools that many people spent countless hours on (LIKE KEYCHAIN HINT HINT) to make life easy for all of us on the Hive Blockchain.

I am a content maker here and most of my content are videos. In the past i used 3Speak to upload my videos to the Steem Blockchain and the process was so easy I was not willing to even try many other dapps because 3Speak provided me what I was looking for.

I gotta say, after the Hardfork login to my account to Upload has been frustrating to say the least. I can easily get logged into my account but it asks me to use Hivesigner. Ok , Whatever.....Hivesigner it is since the better and more reliable route KEYCHAIN is not available.

So Hivesigner gets me into the account but now for some reason i have to enter credentials again to get to the upload page. Now a window is popping up asking my for my email and password that i cant remember because i never had to use this method before.

No worries right? Just simply hit the "forgot password" link and it will be easy reset like most other websites. The system says it is e-mailing me a "code" to change my password. I have tried this step at least 5 times and my email never gets a "code" or any type of reply for that matter. I have checked my trash, span, inbox, under my bed mattress, mailbox and everywhere else you could think of for this code. What is the solution???? KEYCHAIN........well at least it would be a good start because 3Speak is not working for me as well now.

If anyone has any easy ideas to fix this please let me know. Oh did I mention KEYCHAIN would be an easy fix? Sorry for being redundant.

I hope you solve this issue soon.

It's all too confusing. I can get keychain to work for peakD, but it doesn't store my active key, so if I want to send hive, I need to copy and paste this.
Even worse is trying to help people who aren't mind numbingly patient and famililar with the blockchain.

I use peaklock on my phone and it works great. But I prefer keychain for my PC because I use dapps asides from PeakD so it is nice to have functionality that works to login between all the various Hive sites.

It makes no sense to me why 3speak is so resistant to Keychain. Bottom line is keychain works badass and it has for a long long time. Everything else i have used is second to keychain. If 3speak wont make things easier i will upload other places. Its a shame because 3speak was working so well.

Hey @broncnutz, I faced like that login procedure when I tried to upload new video day before yesterday. Then after I enter my e-mail id and enter new password to those boxes. No need to click forgot p/w option. You can try again like my process. Sometimes it won't success because you already clicked forgot p/w. Please try again and if not successful login try to connect 3speak support channel on discord.

on my first video upload, I login in hivesigner without any constraints. However, the next day I uploaded a second video, and experienced it like you experienced. and I followed the instructions, signup with the email address and verify it.

Aww thats not cool. I hope you get that sorted. You know I am not trying to poach 3speak people or anything, just saying I been using Dtube and they put in some updates that make it really easy to upload to or use YT links - the choice is yours.

Don't expect mass adoption of steem, hive, or any dapp on top of them.

Every day is more confusing even for us, early adopters. Imagine how newcomers scratching their heads.

I haven’t had this problem but I get logged out of my hivesigner 3-5 times a week.  It’s slightly annoying, not that annoying but just for the sake of growing the community it’d be good if they could fix this ASAP.  I’m sure they want to, did you contact anyone directly?
