YEREBATAN SARNICI/THE BASILICA CISTERN

Biliyorum,biliyorum çok uzun zamandır buraya uğramıyorum neden uğramadığımı yazımın en alt kısmında açıklayacağım ama ondan önce sizlere Yerebatan Sarnıcının yenilenmiş halini aktarmak istiyorum.***</center>

I know, I know I haven't been here for a long time, I'll explain why I haven't stopped by at the bottom of my article, but before that, I want to tell you the renovated version of the Basilica Cistern.</center>


<center>***Sarnıcın içerisinde ters dönmüş bir medusa heykeli vardı ve belli bir derinlikte su birikintisi vardı. Yaz bitmeden ve ayağımdan geçirdiğim küçük cerrahi operasyonununda iyileşmesi ile birlikte tekrardan Sarnıcın yenilenmiş halini görmeye gittim.Ben yerebatan sarnıcına ilkokul zamanlarımda gitmiştim yanlış hatırlamıyorsam o zaman sadece belli bir yere kadar gidebiliyordunuz, içerisinin aydınlatması da gezebildiğimiz yere kadardı. Bu sarnıç şehrin su ihtiyacını karşılamak için yapılmış ama daha sonra tarihi bir yapıya dönüşmüş. Eskiden kayıklarla sarnıçta gezebiliyormuşsunuz hatta bir rivayete göre bir çift kayıkla birlikte sarnıcın içinde kayıp olmuş.***</center>
><center>Inside the cistern was an inverted statue of medusa and there was a puddle of water at a certain depth. <center>***Sarnıcın içerisinde suya atılmış bozuk paralar görebilirsiniz bu da eski zamanlardan gelen bir davranış. Dileğinizi dileyip suyun içine bozuk para atmak.***</center>

Ayağınız için geçmiş olsun. Yerebatan Sarnıcı'na gelecek olursak da çocukluğumdan beri en çok dikkatimi çeken mimari yapı diyebilirim. Eski çağ mantığında düşünecek olursak sadece bir su sarnıcı ama bana çok görkemli geliyor 🌸.

Teşekkür ederim :) Sarnıc'ın iç dizaynından mıdır bilmem ama bana da eskiden beri çok ürkütücü gelirdi ama şimdi her tarafa gidilebilindiğinden dolayı o görkemli, ürkütücü havası pek kalmamış sanki.
