<center><h1>Mis 10 Cosas Sobre La Arepa</h1></center>

1.- No pueden faltar en los desayunos o cenas de los venezolanos.

2.- En mi casa no pueden faltar, de cualquier manera son deseadas, asadas, fritas, al horno.

3.- Cualquier relleno es bueno, quesos de cualquier tipo, con carne mechada, pollo, pernil, con huevos (perico), salchichas, lo que se te ocurra, con todo son buenas.

4.- Mi especialidad es, amasar la masa con leche, un toque de mantequilla un poco de polvo de hornear, amasar bien, ponerlas apenas al budare y tener listo el horno pre-calentado y para el horno, cuando abomben voltear y listo, quedan espectaculares.

5.- No puede faltar la mantequilla con el relleno que sea, va de la mano con las arepas.

6.- Las arepas fritas, con su respectivo huequito al centro son unas de las preferidas de mis hijos, sobre todo si llevan queso amarillo y claro su mantequilla.

7.- Mi preferida es con relleno de diablito y queso blanco.

8.- Es la comida que mejor le queda a mi hija mayor, redonditas delgadas y grandes, ni muy tostada ni muy hecha, como la de la imagen esa la hizo ella.

9.- Me fascinan las arepas de maíz pilado, hechas a las brasas, las de Cumaná, son mis preferidas, mi papá era oriundo de esa zona.

10.- Las hay por épocas, en diciembre las preferidas son las de pernil, por lo menos para mi.

Se me ocurren muchas cosas mas, pero puedo empezar por decir, que nos representan a los venezolanos de una manera bárbara, todos los venezolanos sin temor a decirlo saben como se hace una arepa o por lo menos alguna vez la han probado, es muy raro que un venezolano, le diga NO a una arepa, es nuestra esencia y sentimiento en un alimento.

1.- They can't be missing in Venezuelans' breakfasts or dinners.

2.- In my house they can't be missing, in any way they are desired, roasted, fried, baked.

3.- Any filling is good, cheese of any kind, with shredded meat, chicken, pork leg, with eggs (perico), sausages, whatever you can think of, they are good with everything.

4.- My specialty is to knead the dough with milk, a touch of butter and a little baking powder, knead well, put them in the oven and have the oven pre-heated and ready for the oven, when they are ready, turn over and ready, they are spectacular.

5 .- You can not miss the butter with the filling that is, goes hand in hand with the arepas.

6.- Fried arepas, with their respective little hole in the center are one of my children's favorites, especially if they have yellow cheese and of course their butter.

7.- My favorite is with deviled stuffing and white cheese.

8 .- It is the food that best suits my eldest daughter, round, thin and large, not too toasted or overcooked, like the one in the picture that she made.

9.- I am fascinated by the arepas de maíz pilado, made on the embers, the ones from Cumaná, they are my favorite, my dad was a native of that area.

10.- They are seasonal, in December the favorite ones are the pernil ones, at least for me.


I can think of many more things, but I can start by saying that they represent us Venezuelans in a great way, all Venezuelans without fear of saying it, know how to make an arepa or at least once have tried it, it is very rare that a Venezuelan, say NO to an arepa, it is our essence and feeling in a food.
