Board games have always seemed fun to me and they also help you to keep those neurons active. As a child I liked to play dominoes, Chinese checkers, ludo, as time went by and times changed with so many online games, they were no longer played, unless it was on your computer or phone, in a moment of boredom or when at school they sent the children to make a board game with recyclable materials, the game was dusted off to have a pattern to follow, I had to, that's how it was until what ....

The pandemic arrived, those two years that the isolation at home lasted, was the right time to dust off the board games and take them out of the room of memories heh, heh, heh, since the time came when even playing online became tedious, because many public services also began to fail in my town, One of the alternatives to share and spend time with the family was to play board games, among them the card game UNO that my oldest daughter brought home, in those days looking for entertainment alternatives, because we didn't have it at home. It was the "novelty" ha, ha, ha, ha because we were tired of always playing the same games.

So, those days we spent hours playing UNO, it was addictive, even for our pet was curious and fascinated to be among the cards, just to be present ha, ha, ha, ha and I tell you something, believe it or not, I had not learned to play this game, It did not call my attention, until this period, my husband and my children had to explain to me the rules and theme of the game, then imagine how they had fun trying to explain all that to me, they could not explain it to them, that at this point in my life, I did not know how to play UNO.

But after I learned, they couldn't beat me so easily ha, ha, ha, ha, it was a threat. So we created many good memories, we learned to share more as a family, to feel comfortable with each other, those long days, it was part of a process, besides for me it was even therapeutic, because it helped me to keep my mental agility active, a recommendation that my doctor has always given me, so it was an ideal complement for those times, what better to combine, laughter, strategies to play and being together with family and close friends, for my general welfare, than to play one of my favorite games!
