Life is fragile. No matter how hard you try to preserve it, or how much you fight death, it’ll surely come to you. Life is uncertain and shaky. You could be full of life one moment and the next, gone from this world with nothing but an empty shell, left behind. Kind of like an echo, reverberating through the hollow walls of those who remember you.

Life is fragile. And it can end in the blink of an eye. It’s that one thing that no matter how much you prepare for it, no matter how much you expect it, you’re still never ready when it comes. Even if you sit in your room waiting for death, you’ll still be shocked when it does come. Because in the end, we’re never supposed to get used to it. Death, like change, is constant, and eventually, everyone will fall to its sword.

And this is why life should be lived to the fullest at all times. Life is so fragile that it can be cut short at any moment. It might not even be cut short, but it could easily be transformed into something that you were not expecting. One wrong move, one mistake, and you’d find yourself living a life you didn’t plan for at all.

But then, when we say live your life to the fullest, many mistake that to mean living your life recklessly and living without a care in the world. That’s just dumb. Living life to the fullest isn’t you drinking to stupor and dancing till your legs give out. It sure as hell isn’t driving at top speeds or having multiple sexual partners.

It can actually be found when doing simpler things, things that make you happy. Traveling the world, visiting and experiencing many cultures, and trying as many foods as you can. Going to the top places in the world. It could be things like riding power bikes, paragliding, skiing, ice-skating… I could go on and on about these things. These are real things that do a lot to make you happy and fulfilled while also enlightening you.

Because whether you like it or not, a lot of these things will only be available for a short time. You won’t always be able to do them, not because you can’t afford to, but because there are other extenuating circumstances you have to consider. Many men who used to love riding bikes had to stop riding the minute they had their first child. Not because they didn’t want to anymore, but because the risk of getting into a bad accident and making their child fatherless far outweighed the thrill they would have felt.

As life happens, many people have had to give up on dreams of traveling across the world, leveling up in their chosen careers, and achieving some major milestones before they hit a certain age. But because of one thing or the other, they couldn’t pursue anymore and had to apply the brakes. Permanently.

And now, they can only wish and regret, thinking of all the things they could have done if they had the time, or if they could turn back time, or if they had the strength… and tragically, there are those who even won’t be able to have those thoughts because they’d be dead before they can achieve their dreams.

Hence, the need to always go for what you want. As long as it’s legal and you can afford it, just do it. Life is too short for you to be checking and balancing. There are so many experiences to be had, and you have just a small fraction of life to experience them all. Don’t waste it on a mundane life. Go out there and live some more. 

It can never be too early to live your best life. It’s not too late either, but tomorrow might be too late. So start today!!!
