I really enjoyed doing this self portrait. A few friends commented that my last few I did I looked sad, which surprised them because I'm normally pretty bubbly and outgoing around people I know.  We got the option to implement color on this assignment so I painted a background in acrylic and then used both  vine and compressed black charcoal as well as white charcoal for my eyes, teeth, and highlights.
