Měl jsem v sobotu odpoledne pár hodin pro sebe. Počasí bylo příznivé a tak jen zbývalo vymyslet, kam se půjdu projít. Vsadil jsem na jistotu. Můj výběr padl na pole u osady Bohouškovice.<br>

O poli u osady Bohouškovice nedaleko Křemže jsem tu psal loni v březnu. Pro sběratelé a hledače kamenů je to vyhlášená lokalita. Běžně se tu dají najít kousky opálu a také jiných minerálů.<br>
Jen to chce trefit správné období. Nejlépe na podzim po orbě nebo na jaře před setbou. Netrefil jsem ani jednu variantu. Na poli se už zelenalo mladé obilí a tak mi nezbylo než „paběrkovat“ kolem pole, abych nešlapal po mladých rostlinkách.</div>

You just have to hit the right time. Best in the fall after plowing or in the spring before sowing. I didn't hit either option. Young grain was already greening up in the field and so I had no choice but to "pick" around the field so as not to step on the young plants.</div>

Jižní Čechy nejsou jen rybníky nebo vyhlášené destinace jako je Český Krumlov nebo zámek Hluboká. Je tu také spousta míst, kde můžete „ukojit“ vaši sběratelskou vášeň :-). Nejen na poli u osady Bohouškovice. Třeba také v údolí Křemžského potoka, kde se dají, při troše trpělivosti a znalostí, vyrýžovat České granáty (pyrop). Popřípadě zkusit štěstí na polích kolem vesnice Vrábče. Je to vyhlášená lokalita vltavínů.<br>
Ať už zavítáte kamkoli, přeji vám úspěch při hledání zajímavých minerálů.</div>

Přiznám se, že v tomto oboru jsem naprostý ignorant a pro mě je jeden šutr jako druhý. I na těch fotkách.
Obdivuju, že je někdo dokáže rozlišit a dokonce pojmenovat 😊

Kdysi jsem byli na hradě Svojanov, kde jsme se v rámci prohlídky dozvěděli, že v okolí se běžně nacházejí české granáty ‒ pyropy. Což jsme prochodili, kluci i něco nasbírali, ale jestli to bylo ono, buh suď 😊

Na kameny jsem "ujetý" od mala. Opravdu se divím, že jsem nešel studovat geologii :-). Pojmenovávat a rozeznávat kameny se pomalu učím až teď :-).

Asi v první třídě jsem našel svůj první český granát. Bylo to na Vranovské přehradě. Byli tam nějací větší kluci a potápěli se pro ně u přívozu přes Švýcarskou zátoku. Ukázali mi, co mám hledat, takže jsem měl "instruktory" :-)

Tady kousek, asi 200m na Muzeu naftového dobývání bývají burzy minerálů. Jezdí sem i Poláci. Jeden s takovou řezačkou (teda kdyby to viděl nějaký bezpečák jak to má zajištěné, tak ho terfí šlak) Má tam hromadu valounů a řeže je napůl. nevím kde to sbírá, ale někdy po rozříznutí jsou z toho krásné obrazce, někdy i všelijaké lastury z toho vylezou.

Řezat kameny není žádná sranda. Chce to hodně cviku. Valouny najdeš skoro u každého potoka :-). Tyhle ale asi byly od nějakého jezera nebo od moře. Problém je ten, že nikdy nevíš (až na pár výjimek), co je uvnitř. To se pozná až po řezu nebo rozpůlení kladívkem. Jsou ale profíci, kteří už ví, jak co vypadá v surovém stavu a jdou najisto :-)
