Kompetensi

Competency.

Kompetensi merupakan kemampuan seseorang yang terdiri dari pengetahuan, sikap dan keahlian. Dalam dunia kerja, kompetensi sangat penting dimiliki oleh setiap orang sesuai dengan bidang kerjanya masing-masing. Semakin tinggi kompetensi seseorang, semakin memuaskan hasil kerja yang dihasilkan.

Penguatan kompetensi bagi setiap orang bisa dilakukan melalui pendidikan formal dan non formal. Pendidikan formal bisa didapatkan dari sekolah, sedangkan pendidikan non formal bisa berupa pengalaman, pelatihan, study banding atau berbagi pengalaman dengan orang lain.

Dunia kerja memang membutuhkan kompetensi yang handal. Pengetahuan saja tidak cukup tanpa ada keahlian, apalagi tanpa dibarengi dengan sikap yang disiplin. Oleh sebab itu, setiap orang perlu mengembangkan kompetensi yang tetdiri dari pengetahuan, sikap dan keterampilan.
