Reading happens every day, it can start with the alarm clock on our bedside in the morning, the instruction to "swipe up" as we open our phones and even the road traffic count down timer.  We are being forced to read these things if we must carry out our daily activities without hitches. 

Reading is fun however, especially when reading in one's preferred niche. It helps to relaxe the mind and open it up to creativity which leads to innovation. 
But what if for every time you spend reading you get paid and more if you decide to continue.

[BetaReader.io](https://betareader.io): This is a platform that allows authors and publishers to manage their beta reading process more efficiently. Beta readers are paid for their feedback and can earn up to $100 per manuscript.

**Become a book translator and translate books into different languages.** There are several websites that pay book translators for their work. They include:

[Upwork](https://www.upwork.com/freelance-jobs/translation/): Again Upwork also offer this opportunity by connecting book translators with authors who need their books translated into different languages. Book translators can earn money by translating novels, non-fiction books, and other types of literature. 

3.  [Gengo](https://gengo.com/translators/): Gengo is a platform that connects translators with clients who need their books translated into different languages. Book translators can earn money by translating books, articles, and other types of literature.
