Now I have a hard time in my relationship with my cat.  He is six months old and he is no longer the naive, cute kitten.  He is always on his mind.  My pink glasses on raising an intelligent, intelligent, obedient cat have almost faded and I have to put up with the sad reality.  For a long time, when I was still out of town, I took him to the forest to teach him to walk with us.

 I assure you, if I let him out of my hands on the street, he would slip away and not even mention me.  It seems to me that looking out the window, he is madly dreaming of getting there, thinking it's cool there.

 He is kind of primitive.  The only thing he wants from us is food.  His whole life is reduced to "eat", sleep, eat again.  And again.
 Do you sometimes wonder what the meaning of cat life is?  All their years, cats eat and wake up.

I still understand dogs.  Here it is: you give him food, clean, walk, but he at least gives you feedback - to serve until the end of days.
 And in general he comes to you (not for selfish purposes, to ask to eat), tender, rejoices when you come, misses when you are bad, loves you.  And dogs can be taught many cool commands.

І взагалі він приходить до тебе (не з корисливих цілей, випросити їсти), ніжиться, радіє коли ти приходиш, сумує коли тобі погано, любить тебе. А ще собак можна навчити безлічі крутих команд.

 In short, finding common ground with a cat is very difficult.  It is unrealistic to impose on him the understanding that he is yours.  He is always on his own and will not remember you for sure.

> Ще про це: щось мені підказує, що тут якраз і є різниця. Тобто собака скорше буде відкрито просити їжу, але може й просто так прийти і лягти вам головою на ногу. А от кіт він приходить хитро, крутиться навколо ваших ніг, так мило з невинними очима, а насправді просто хоче, щоб ви дали йому їсти.
Коротко кажучи, знайти спільну мову з котом дуже складно. Нав'язати йому розуміння того, що він ваш нереально. Він завжди сам по собі і точно про вас не згадає.
