Greetings, [Photography](https://ecency.com/created/hive-119845) community! It's a real pleasure to have stumbled upon this interesting contest proposed by the esteemed @friendlymoose, and it caught my attention from the very beginning! As fate would have it, when I opened my Hive feed, the first article I found was about this wonderful contest, now in its [edition #176](https://ecency.com/hive-119845/@friendlymoose/friendlymoose-photo-contest-new-round-multiple-colors), and I didn't want to miss the opportunity to participate and, at the same time, make my first contribution to this wonderful community. But first, let me tell you how I came to create this panoramic photo contest I've brought you today.

It turns out that I woke up early in the morning seeing the call for this contest focused on photography that combines several colors and I went to the kitchen thinking about what I could do and while I was watering my plants and drinking my coffee, inspiration came to me: a panoramic view of Cerro Ávila, our green lung and great protector of my entropic city Caracas!

While I was thinking about how I would take the photograph, I thought of doing an experimental test. I tested the panoramic function of my Sony Cybershot camera. I had just replaced the battery and memory card. I had only taken a panoramic shot with this camera once before, several years ago. So I put it to the test, but before that, I charged the battery, which took me 90 minutes, and finally I was able to do it. One of the most impressive things about Cerro Ávila is its green mountains, which create a striking contrast with the blue sky and clouds. Unfortunately, those few minutes it took to charge the battery meant I couldn't take advantage of those early morning hours when the sky was clearer and the contrast between the mountain and the sky was greater. But overall, I liked the composition of white, blue, green, and then a collage of colors as I descended to the city and its various colorful buildings that seem to form a mosaic.

Then I realized that the panoramic view can be not only horizontal but also vertical, so I took a couple of photos from bottom to top, but unfortunately, the day was already turning cloudy, and the colorful composition was being lost. I took them from different perspectives, the right one looking north, and the left one looking west.

Es un verdadero gusto haberme topado con este interesante concurso propuesto por el estimado @friendlymoose y que desde el primero momento me llamó la atención! Quizo el destino que al abrir el feed de hive el primer artículo que me encuentro es el de este maravilloso concurso que ya va por su [edición #176](https://ecency.com/hive-119845/@friendlymoose/friendlymoose-photo-contest-new-round-multiple-colors) y no quise perder la oportunidad de participar y al mismo tiempo realizar mi primer aporte a esta maravillosa comunidad. Pero antes déjame contarte como fue que llegue a la elaboración de esta panorámica que te he traído el día de hoy.

Resulta que me levante temprano en la mañana viendo el llamado de este concurso enfocado en fotografía que combinene varios colores y me fui a la cocina pensando que podía hacer y mientras regaba mis plantas y bebía mi café, me vino la inspiración: una panorámica del Cerro Ávila nuestro pulmón vegetal y gran protector de mi entrópica Ciudad Caracas!

Mientras pensaba como tomaría la fotografía, pensé en hacer un ensayo experimental, y fue poner a prueba la función panorámica de mi cámara Sony Cybershot que recién cambié la pila y la tarjeta de memoria y solo una vez hace ya varios año solo tome una panorámica con esta cámara, así que la puse a prueba pero antes puse a cargar la batería lo que me tomo 90 minutos y finalmente pude hacerla. Una de las cosas que impresiona del Cerro Ávila son sus verdes montañas que hacen un contraste muy marcado con el cielo azul y las nubes, lamentablemente esos minutos que tomó cargar la pila no me permitió aprovechar esos primeros minutos de la mañana cuando el cielo estaba más despejado y el contraste entre la montaña y el cielo era mayor, pero en general me gustó la composición de blanco, azul, verde y luego un collage de colores al bajar a la ciudad y sus distintos edificios de colores que parecen formar un mosaico.

Luego me di cuenta que la función panorámica no solo puede ser horizontal, sino vertical también, asi que tomé un par de fotos de abajo hacia arriba pero lamentablemente ya el día se estaba volviendo nublado  y se estaba perdiendo la composición colorida. De todas formas las tomé en diferentes perspectivas, la derecha viendo hacia el norte y la izquierda viendo hacia el oeste.

Y bien amigos, esta fue mi primera participación en este genial concurso, espero que te haya gustado la panorámica que tomé, me ha gustado como quedó la fotografía, por lo que creo que seguiré experimentando con esta función.
