Pay It Forward with HSBI / Re-blog Lottery

There was an interesting discussion that took place a while back. It centered around HSBI (Hive Steem Basic Income) units, and how for those new to Hive, the small upvotes they get from it mean a lot. As someone who's newer to Hive, I can certainly relate to that. It can be hard to consistently put out content and have nobody comment, upvote or reblog it. You wonder if you're simply wasting your time.

I was onboarded by bitcoinman and we created the [Hive Onboarding Committee](https://peakd.com/c/hive-193566) to help not only onboard people to Hive, but also support those who are new to Hive and made it here themselves, were introduced by somebody else, etc.

I like to run HSBI giveaways because it provides a small upvote for others when you sponsor them, and I also get HSBI units in turn, so it's a win-win. Plus, who doesn't like giveaways, right? As fun as they are, I want to do something on the side to help those who are newer to Hive. It's simply called "Pay It Forward", based off the movie. **What Is HSBI?**
It is a program designed so that anyone can "sponsor" another person on Hive. One HSBI unit costs 1 Hive. The person sponsoring also receives a unit. These units provide upvotes to the posts of whoever holds them. [You can read more about them here.](https://www.hivesbi.com/)

**How It Works**
- Nominate someone in the comments by putting their name in your reply.

- *Note: I will be checking posting history, how many HSBI units someone already has, etc., to determine if I will include them in the drawing. The goal is to help give a little encouragement to newer Hive members.*

- At the end of the post's payout period, everyone who was nominated will go into a drawing, and the winner gets **10 HSBI**.

- I want this post to reach as many people as possible, so anyone who reblogs this post will have their name put into a separate drawing. The winner of this drawing will get **5 HSBI**.

That's all there is to it.
