Today, I want to give Steemians another #investing idea to help you become better #cryptocurrency traders and investors. In this #Steem Ed lesson, we'll use the #Ethereum altcoin as an example.

Pull up, and copy and paste Ethereum's year-to-date information from Coinmarketcap.com as I outlined in my earlier Steem Ed lessons. Then, create a candlestick chart (also another Steem Ed lesson).

You'll notice that the Ethereum price and Ethereum volume share a direct relationship with each other -- in this case, as the price goes down, so too does the volume.

#### As outlined in my last Steem Ed lesson, use the " =correl " formula!

I used the shortcut: " =correl(B:B,F:F) ", revealing a 0.535 correlation coefficient.

#### However, run a correlation analysis starting from February 1st...

I used the following formula: " =correl(B1:B30,F2:F30) "

Notice that the correlation coefficient is now -0.033!

Could we be seeing the beginnings of a new, robust Ethereum rally? I argue quite possibly because we are witnessing a sharp dichotomy between fairly strong direct correlation to no to slightly negative correlation.

To confirm this argument, we will need to wait until volume (ie. investor sentiment) comes back into the Ethereum market. However, speculators can jump ahead of this trade by *assuming* that the investor sentiment will be there soon!
