*When I was still very young, My ambition in life was to become a doctor because I wanted to save lives but not all wishes come to pass, life happens and that childhood dream was killed.*

*I decided to pursue another career and this year when I saw a chance to become a part-time student in a prestigious school in the state where I reside, I jumped on the offer and chose Computer science as a course which I am kind of regretting right now.*

*You must be wondering why I am regretting it since no one forced me to choose the course, I thought since I am into online stuff, learning more about computers would help me more. Still, when I gained admission and attended the computer class I realized I was in the wrong department.*

*First of all, I  hate computer courses, especially the programming ones, the class is boring to me and most time I do not understand what the lecturers are teaching neither was I interested in learning it, I just hope they would finish their lectures on time and leave the class.*

*The same thing happened to me today, we had two lectures and the first one was com 121 which is programming using JAVA, the lecturer spent 2 hours teaching and I could not jot down anything and that is because I did not like to write when I do not understand what is being taught.*

*The next class after the Com was EED, which deals with entrepreneurship, I felt alive again when the lecturer started teaching and I was following all that he was saying, I understood everything he said and also jotted down some things in my book then once again I realize I was in the wrong department, I should have gone for courses like psychology, agriculture or one that does not require calculations.*

*The deed is done,  it is already the second semester of studying computer science, and am just going to keep pushing till I graduate but I do not think I belong there!*

*Many have also committed the same mistake of not pursuing the right career they love, some students are in a particular department because their friends are there, and some were forced to be there by their parents or guardians.*

*This is not right, if you want to be successful in a career, it must be one that you have passion for so you can be able to motivate yourself to be better every single day.*

*We all make mistakes right? but we must not let our mistakes define us, we must learn to make things right by correcting our mistakes before it becomes a bigger problem. So what am going to do now is become more studious and try my best to understand the computer course, I believe the future is bright.*
