Principles newbies must be conversant with to be successful on Steemit platform

Steemit is a great platform. One of the greatest social platform that award people for their creativity unlike the rest.  Many people are joining because of what they heard about it but they were not told factors that determine whether they will make it or not,  the people who introduced them only did tell them it pays.... I will like to go on a tour on what newbies must do if they want to be successful on this platform....

# make friends and connect with people

Good content is well appreciated but without friends and followers to check on it,  it is just a waste of time,  so connect with newbies, dolphins and whales,  each and everyone of them are useful in one way or the other,  do not neglect the newbies because they have no steempower because that newby might have whales as friends... You must be wondering how to connect or make friends with people,  it is simple,  just follow my guidelines.. 

1) Always comment on at least 20posts per day... 
2) there are groups created on what sap for 
     Steemit,  relate with people there,  let them  
     get to know you
3) Always be ready to help if any steemians 
     needs your help.. As if you sow good,  you. 
     will reap good..

# Don't beg for upvote

There is something we call ego and self-esteem,  don't lose both just to get upvote,  instead of begging people to vote your work,  it is better you win their heart and you won't even have to tell them to vote you before they show you love...connection and friendship is the key.. 
Things you must not do 
1) do not drop your link in a person post  
     without his or her permissio because it will be       
     termed as spamming and you might be  
     flagged for that.  
2) do not spam people with your links on what 
     sap or any other social media seeking for 
     upvotes, that is privacy intrusion...

# be patient and use your time wisely

Rome was not built in a day,  Do not envy those with huge payout because they have once been in your position, what you need to do invest your time,  be dedicated to what you are creating, let it be original,  and as time goes on, you will learn more,  knowledge is wide,  we learn everyday..so work hard and be patient...

You're actually right especially when it comes to introducing someone new, we only build the idea of it financial benefits and neglect the aspect of community participation  which leave them believing getting good earning is the goal.
