> # A show of pirouettes and spectacularity: *Trials Fusion*

Another week, another couple of games to play and analyze in Hive, I already did it with the colorful adventure of undeniable quality with Chicory, now it's time for another of those Indie games that leave well standing this sector of the industry, to be honest, I already feel more affection towards the indies than towards the AAA games of some big studios, besides, there are a huge amount of indie games that I haven't been able to play (in fact, until recently I became aware of this kind of games) and I want to be able to play and review as many of them as I can, while I also try to promote them so there are more people willing to play them and maybe buy other games of this style. 

I'm not going to lie, when I saw the first comments about the Trials series I imagined one of those motorcycle or car simulators that I find so hard to get attached to, maybe I'm not a man who likes driving too much but Trials from the moment I could try it I ended up loving it in all aspects, it was not a simulation title, if not almost the opposite, the speed and stunts that put this title in the spotlight are perfectly matched with the fun and crazy goals it proposes, Redlinx studio has for quite some time with this franchise (in fact, they were one of the first to focus on the sale of digital-only games) and has extensive experience in its contents and especially its controls and gameplay, as this new installment, Trials Fusion, has, according to what I have read, the best feeling and the most dizzying and spectacular tests of all deliveries, from the beginning I called my attention that "festival" of driving similar to what Forza Horizon did with their games so I just missed a discount by Steam to have it in my library.

To describe Trials I think it would be nice to first say that its controls are immediately recognizable and easy to handle, we will have a couple of challenges in the first 15 minutes of play but the truth is that the learning curve in the game does a great job exploring the controls and its possibilities before giving you absolute control of the fun, we have several types of tests that vary between being a show where we have to measure well our jumps and go through different obstacles (very platform games, and others where we will have to compete, usually against a ghost, in a sprint to the finish line also passing through different obstacle courses, either way, the game even after many hours remains fresh and fun, two of the key attributes why I do not throw the game control before passing it completely, because if I said at the beginning that the controls are easy to master, well wait a bit because the game does not take long to give you a real challenge with their levels. 

The gameplay sticks very much to the classics are its 2D perspective, something that also allows it to make several nods to other styles of games, also integrating platforming sections as well as moments where we will have to do speedrun to the goal, as I said before, this scheme also allows its controls to be simple and we can take the reins and go through the levels from the first moment, anyway the game does a polished job in explaining you the different stunts you can do with your bike and the possibilities that can be explored in the scenery, which also plays a fundamental role in the fun of this title as it presents surreal structures in many cases, ramps that move, accelerators, midway obstacles, secondary objectives, it always finds a way to keep the gameplay fresh and walking.

The show is also present in Trials, because if I already talked about the scenery from the gameplay I think the aesthetic part is more than remarkable in this installment, its tracks are futuristic, full of surprises and are interesting enough to make you want to continue on them, Each track has several secret passages in which we can achieve secondary objectives but what I liked the most without a doubt are its ramps, in which I can spend all day jumping from them because, here is another thing that this game has, it allows you to show off in each of the jumps implementing a system of acrobatics in flight that can serve to raise our score in the areas. 





Another part that has this game is how easy it is to return to action when in some of the tracks we fall, just press a button to go back to the last point of recovery and again roll and try to complete that last stunt, everything happens so fast and the recovered is so fast that we do not realize how many times we tried, There are only those anxieties of wanting to overcome the last obstacle, anyway I also find it funny to see the dummie when he falls off the bike, we can see some wild things when we fail a test or even when we pass it, the game has a very clever and funny humor that adds a personality to this kind of games.

Finally, there are many sections that I did not cover in this review, such as the ability to customize the bike or the secondary tests that increase the life of the title, the cooperative or the ability to play with up to 4 people online, but anyway, do I recommend Trials Fusion? It's a very fun mix of immediacy with all kinds of stunts, it's a title you can play quickly to have a good time, it won't change your life but I'm sure it will make you feel good after a long day of work, just like it did for me.
