Apologies for the lack of posts this week, it has been quite draining my work load keeps increasing - and the warm summer evenings are more conducive to hanging out in the garden than typing. Today I took my boy and his two friends to watch Spiderman Far From Home at the cinema - they enjoyed the film and the overpriced snacks I bought them to enjoy while watching.

The sun has brought the Strawberries out - now they are all getting rosy red.

And I found this monster spider chilling out on a bag of sand.

Post cinema we took a trip to visit my Dad, and walk along the Brighouse canal.

The Canal basin I visited many times in my youth, it's fascinating seeing all the canal boats with their decorative styling.

And then we took in the flowers in my Dad's garden.

Quite a selection have blossomed in the sun.
